Hope the Indian press doesn't start talking about this like its a positive story for India. The real story is, why must Sundar Pichai immigrate halfway across the planet to get such an opportunity to live to his potential. Why can't he be given a chance in India? Why does everyone have to leave India to succeed except the rich.

Yes they have completely banned the beef in Maharashtra. Punishment for sexual harassment-2 years and Punishment for eating beef-5 years. lol

It is also banned in few other states. Many Christians were against this law in Mumbai. They protested along with many Muslims, Laws should be based upon reason not personal beliefs. I believe the country belongs as much to Muslims and Christians as it does to Hindus. Beef is the cheapest source of protein for a large section of our population especially the tribal belt. Banning food in a chronically malnourished country like ours is quite literally the definition of irony. Now the Muslims and Christians have moved to other sources of meats like buffalo and goat, but they are not as cheap as beef was.
