Is there any way I could get DNA testing for free?

I'm wondering, are there any researchers anywhere that I could contact to have my family's DNA kits paid for? I'm trying to get my whole family tested, but I am a bit short on cash and I think it could be valuable information to certain researchers if they have raw data from an entire family.

You would have to ask around. There are plenty of universities that specialise in DNA and ancestry studies.
