Classify American Actress Charisma Carpenter

Hope everyone's doing well today!

Could you guys please classify American actress Charisma Carpenter? She is probably most famous for playing Cordelia Chase on shows Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel

Apparantly her ancestry is Spanish, English, Scottish, French, German and Irish. Her maternal grandmother was said to be one quarter Cherokee but it has never been verified.

What do you guys think? She doesn't look very white to me.

I took a class in college about the representation of race class & gender in American television and the teacher always said that Buffy had a white-only cast. According to her (and some researchers) Cordelia Chase (played by Carpenter) represented the priviledged white upper class Americans. I always disagreed and thought Carpenter looked pretty latin-american.

Don't you think she stands out from the rest of the cast?

I'm curious about other Americans' point of view. I think she'd stand out pretty much anywhere in Europe.

She may have some Amerindian in the cheekbones, but she doesn't really look Native American. If I had to place her anywhere it'd be Southern Europe, especially Spain, and maybe even Italy.

Looks almost Mestiza, but the Indian element is of plains type so it blends with European better. She DEFINITELY has lots of Amerindian ancestry...

Nicholas Brendan and David Boreanaz are as dark. Sarah Michelle Geller stands out to me. She looks very Jewish.

What is it with dudes being easily fooled by claims of amerindian ancestors? Most claims of Amerindian ancestors in the U.S are fake!
