This ancient sample named RISE174 is of a woman who lived approx. 1500 years ago in Scania (southern Scandinavia). The gedmatch code is F999943. I match her with 1.3 cM at chr 6 using the gedmatch one to one analysis. It's on the same chromosome and about the same marker locations I know that I have old matches with other north European members here. Like not a cop and Graham.

I'm curious if other north European members here also match with her. I don't know much about my Swedish ancestors 700+ years ago, just that they most likely came from Hälsingland (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H%C3%A4lsingland) in the 14th century. So it was interesting with an old Scanian match.

1.3 cM is ridiculously low a match.

my biggest match with her is

2.8 CM (304 SNPs) on chr 1

Largest segment = 2.8 cM
Total of segments > 2 cM = 14.0 cM

but it's not a real match if it's under 7 cM I guess

Compared to other much older samples,1500 years shouldn't even be called ancient.

Using minimum threshold 200 Minimum segment 2 .

Largest segment on Chromosome 5 = 4.3 cMs
Total over 2cMs = 24.4
