They aren't Blacks. Melanesians and Australasians don't see themseleves as 'Black' in a Northern American racial category.

They are Melanesians, not Africans. Genetically very distant actually.
But yes, it is interesting that they have a large number of natural blondes, however, it's a different gene which controls for that mutation than the ones that Europeans have.

^^This is homegrown gene that gives him blond hair - and it's different from the one in Europeans.
To be blonde hair doesn't mean you to have European ancestors only.

Speaking of Blacks with naturally blonde hair, in this case with hazel/blue eyes.

I wonder if there is more pygmy genes in Nigerians, than in other West Africans? Since pygmies and Khoisan are the lightest in SSA. Or maybe there is left over European in Nigerian even though test say otherwise?

Has to do with Euro genes. Blond hair and blue eyes are no longer considered recessive by geneticists and can pop up in any race every now and then, if there are white influences in the genome. Remember, DNA behaves randomly.
Once saw a pitch black African on a construction site with aqua eyes. A genetic combinatorial aberration
