It's a direct categorization, each section of which allows for development toward its opposite on a personal basis. It's a matter of trait dominance really. Moreover, you must accept/classify yourself. The MBTI is based around the principle that ethics requires you to do so. Nobody can tell you you're a certain type, nor can the test, if you disagree with it.

The results are yours to accept as accurate about yourself, or disregard as you please; as to the accuracy of the test, you should not expect accuracy from any test under 70 questions. Shorter tests have less control questions for measuring manipulation of the answers.

I wonder if pure logical reasoning leads an individual towards a better understanding of the differences between the varying races and ethnicities.

INTP's are more open minded, but also less straightforward and more often unpunctual probably - in a direct comparison. INTJ's can be more deadlocked at times, but also more consequent about their habits - which is essentially the same, just sometimes good, sometimes bad.

That's my impression, so both variants have their strengths and weaknesses the other doesn't share, especially in this case.

Thats pretty much true, I think INTJ's are more of the leader/manager type
when they need to make a choice (in a work related way) they will make it and they pick the one that feels right.

While when looking at myself (and the type that's supposed to reflect my character) I feel like I keep my options more open to the different theories that people have, providing that the person in question has earned my respect and comes up with a sensible approach (to view a theorie/subject).
