Man Who Had Penis Ripped Off In Accident When He Was 8 Gets Bionic Replacement At Age 43
Mohammed Abad, a 43-year-old virgin, has been fitted with a penis that was sculpted from his arm. The eight-inch penis works when he presses a button that has been connected to his testicles.
Mohammad, a security guard, whose penis was ripped off in an accident when he was only 8-years-old, has had over 100 operations. Now, he simply squeezes his testicles to inflate his new penis, reports the Huffington Post.
Surgeons at the University College London attached the bionic penis. The device has two tubes that fill up with liquid from his stomach, allowing him to get an erection.
He starts the process by pushing a button connected to his scrotum and uses a switch to drain the penis after use.
The device takes only seconds to work, but it will take time to get used to.
Doctors used a skin graft from his arm to cover the shaft. Skin and fat from his forearm was harvested to create the new device. The entire operation took 11 hours, reports the Daily Mail.
“When you want a bit of action, you press the ‘on’ button. When you are finished, you press another button. It takes seconds. Some ladies might want to try it out,” Mohammad said.
When Mohammed was 8, he was pushed into a roadway and he fell under a car. The car dragged him more than 600 feet. He suffered serious injuries to both his genitals and thighs.
Mohammad says that his entire penis was destroyed in the accident, as well as his left testicle. He says that his right testicle was saved, but that he has no feeling in it.
Back in 2013, he appeared on a television show called Embarrassing Bodies. On the show, he stated that the penis he was fitted with was numb to the touch, but that he could feel pressure when he urinated.
Now he shares that he has a penis that he is “happy to touch.”
Mohammed adds that: “Doctors have told me to keep practicing.”
Mohammad, who is now looking for love, says that he is optimistic about the future.
“I’m looking forward to meeting somebody who I can maybe practice with. The ultimate goal would be to have kids, which would be a miracle in itself,” he said.
Mohammad is not the first person to get a penis transplant. A South African man, who has not been identified, was the first recipient of a penis transplant last year. He is now expecting his first child.
