Guess which one is from Sicily and from Paris.

I'd say that the guy on the left is Italian while the guy on the right is French

The one on the left looks very mediterrean inspired whereas the one on the right looks reminiscent of one that would belong to Norman stock! :thumb001:

Agreed, I think the guy on the right would fit further North in Europe without any problems, not so sure about the one on the left. I'd also add that both could fit in France but I am not sure that they would both fit in Italy.

Left French, right Italian, they look the opposite (left Italian, Right French), but i think this will be the right answer.

+1 the guy on the right looks French, familiar face. The guy in the left could be French but he looks more Mediterranean, he's a fair Med guy so I think he's Italian. But I could be wrong, this is maybe tricky.

Sicilians on average look well-groomed and the guy on the right looks like a depressed hippy.

This was not a trick question and the overwhelming majority did get it right.
Answer: Left Italian and Right French

There s a simple thing to be sure without too much thoughts, the higher position of the ear and size of the forhead, you can tell one has two times the mesolithic level just by that. It's way more complicated when it's closer but most of the time you don't even have to look at anything else when dealing with that kind of ratio. Most of us assess this unconsciously.
