Great mugshots! :thumb001:

Do you feel that these pictures show a well balanced group of the typical Norwegian phenotypes or does one particular group stand out as the typical Norwegian criminal?

I don't know if I'd say all of them look typical, Some look a bit strange though... but it might be due to the circumstances in wich the pictures are taken.

based on phenotype...
I'd say Borreby's, Tydal and Brünn have the most potential for commiting crimes, followed by Baltids and Lappids ...I'm just joking.:p

This kid, incarcerated in 1886 was nicknamed "Satan" and he was punished to 60 days in prison and 36 canings for thievery.

The guy from this picture: http://i911.photobucket.com/albums/ac316/Pallantides/Botsfengslet/botsfengslet4.jpg

The one on the lower left, he looks strange... especially his profile. Are people like him common in Norway?

More Nordid/progressive variants and Osteuropids/North Eastern influenced than among some peasant samples you showed so far.

"Criminals" is a wide field, would be interesting to know more about the crimes they commited, f.e. psychotic criminals, sexual offenders, those out of desperation and need, professional criminals, political ones probably etc.
