I said "at some extent". It doesn't mean you do not look Belarusian, nor that you cannot pass as one. I know some guys from Belarus who look quite similar to you, but I also know other guys from Belarus who differ a lot. It's not magic, it's normal. If you would walk on the street in Belarus no one will suppose you are a foreigner, but also no one would be surprised if you would uncover the truth and say "I am not Belarusian".
