Well geographically, Azerbaijan is not close to Europe at all. I'm not entirely sure if they could really be classed as European.

In general, Azeris have Iranic, Turkic, and Caucasian influences, so they are indeed caucasoid. Overall they seem to pass in countries close to them, so in Georgia, Iran, Turkey, Syria. You may get a couple of people able to pass as atypical in the Balkans and surrounding areas, but both culturally and geographically I don't think you could consider them European.

Not European, but definitely a cool, modern, secular and sucesfull muslim societybas they are. An autocratic president and levels of corruption unknown in Europe prevent them from becoming a fully developed country. But as far as developing nations go, Azerbajan be one of the best.

Regarding "White" I guess it depends on the individual an on the context. "White is a term rather meaningless outside the US, bjt within the US most azeri wouodn't be seen as white, yet still caucasian for statistical purposes.
