really the middle one is the least Spanish of the three to me. But he is still within the mediterranean range so ... The third one looks more pan med too, but he would pass better in Spain. The first ine thiugh...hus looks are quite Spanish and of the darkest dpectrum (just like the OP likes)

Spanish, Sicilian, Greek? Maybe the last one is Spanish? First looks the most Iberian to me.

The first doesn't look darker to me, he just has wet, sweaty hair. He does have some thick eyebrows though that give him swarth points.

he has features that are more frequenty associated with Spaniards but the third one would be a much more neutral type and perhaps more common even than the first. Anyway, it would be nice if the OP posted a closer phito of the first one with better light.

First one has a facial hair pattern I associate with Spanish. And that jaw, and eyeshape.

Spanish, Greek, Sicilian.

Either way #3 looks most Sicilian, he has close spaced eyes and a bit Jewish looking but not really exotic. I could see #2 as Spanish also but he looks very Peloponnesian.

Artabro I have to give it to you these are all representative for Southern Europe IMO. :)

According to the Spanish Caxtiltēcati the third is the one that passes better in Spain. I don't see anything Jewish about him.

the three can pass innspain in more or less degree imo. but it is just my opinion. Thenlast one is the most neutral med, therefore the bestbfit for the threr countries. The middle one could be an unusuak type in Spain, but not rare either. My firsy guess was spanish greek italian, but now I think the first is likely greek and the other two too hard to tell.

I would be very surprised if the third is Spanish, his eye region really throws it off for him to be Spanish. I stuck with my original guess. I have no difficulty telling Iberians from southern Italians.

you have never been yo either italy or spain. the third one could be either or. precisely the third one is the most generic of the three. I would go with the second one as Spanish because the OP likes the most unusual Spanish types. But because the three are nit very representative, itbis hard to tell.

To me, the third one is the least Spanish looking of them all. He doesn't look generic Med to me, not with the shape of his eyes. I could guess right away which was Sicilian, but it took me longer to decide between 1 and 2 for Spanish and Greek.

hendoesn't look generic to you because you donlt know ehat mediterranean eurooe looks likr; nit having ever been there.

the three have been chosen to be ambiguous. I had a boarding school teacher looking just like the thurd one. His eyes I have seen a million times. He maybe Italian, but not a ckear cut case. Nine if them are clear cut. Nevertheless someone has whistled me the answer via pm. But I won't tell not to spoil the fun

Well of course you shouldn't care about anyone's opinion on such topics. Specially about what some guy on the internet thinks lol. But is not your guesses that are odd
It's the reasons you provided to justify them that look suspicious to me :-p

I don't care what you think, so don't bother telling me. Just have him reveal the answer.

Honestly I thought this was going to be extremely easy, because I picked them stereotypically: east med, berid and alpine. Surprisingly only Tana got it right.

1 Greek: Panagiotis Nikas, footballer
2 Andalusian: Juan Carlos Duarte, mayor of San Juan del Puerto (Huelva)
3 Sicilian: Gianfilippo Bancheri, sicilian mayor of Delia

"East Med" isn't real. The first is in the Atlanto-Med or Pontid range, which is why people guessed him as Spanish fairly often here.

#2 definitely has a Greek look though. The Sicilian was obvious to me and seeing I got it right is reaffirming.

Of the three ethnic groups I can most easily tell Sicilians apart, the only exception is if the Greek looks very Balkan.

You got 1/3 I think you are a sore loser. I don't see anyone here justifying their mistakes, but you...

I think you have a point here, although I had several different combinations in my head. Next time I'm going for my intuition again.

Honestly I thought this was going to be extremely easy, because I picked them stereotypically: east med, berid and alpine.

Honestly now, east-med isn't a subrace but a spectrum for higher-skulled types suggested by Lundman.

Berid isn't considered the most typical in Iberia in regards to anthropology but classic as well taller/atlanto-med types are.

In any case, I have noticed certain picking partners also deviating from your introduction as "I'm Spaniard and didn't stand out among young Greeks when I visited Athens".

Now, I don't know if it's a reaction to Sikeliot's, Raine's or else's silly conceptions and reactions or some deeper agenda but it certainly deviates from one point to another.
