Both his first name and last name are extremely typical for a Neapolitan. Everyone with that name would have a 98% chance of coming from Naples or surroundings.

Campania is not the 'most swarthy' region of Italy..:picard1:

What is your problem with Med type Italians..? As if Spain is a nation without any Med-types?

YOu should look for a nice girlfriend or something, this is becoming unhealthy amigo; do you also have a form of autism or a severe attention deficit disorder or something ?

Why do you think most people on this forum are ignoring you (especially Italians)? This is becoming overly ridiculous..

Yes, it's very common in Naples, it was the surname given to the orphans.

Alessio, cristiano viejo trolls the Italian every day. You know, according to some users here, Spanish are Brit-looking, Italians are MENAs.

Sources he is Gypsy?

The standard escapement to say that someone's Gypsy if he/she is somewhat atypical and swarthy looking..Pathetic

To make this an everyday occupation is really weird to say the least..

Orphans were probably given this name because it is so common and neutral.

I don't believe in the hypothesis that this was explicitly a name given to orphans - this makes no sense looking at the high numbers of families carrying this surname and not to mention the variation of this name such as : D'Esposito, Degli Esposti, Esposti, Esposto, Sposito, etc.

1. he is from naples, which has the largest gypsy population in italy.
2. when he played for napoli he was known as 'zingaro'.
3. he has a typical zingari face.

anyway, this guy isn't even famous nowadays, he plays for a team in serie B. it only shows op's eager to troll.

It comes from Latin expositum, "placed outside". Every Italian region has type of surnames (but they are different).

Alessio, do you read Italian? I think so.

That would be Lazio.. People in Italy usually get certain nicknames - this however doesn't necessarily mean they are ancestrally related to that nickname..

make up excuses is when Monica Cervera, a famous spanish actress, was posted and called gypsy. just because it's believed 10% of andalusia's population is mixed with gypsies doesn't mean every exotic person there is one.

I even dont know that Mónica Cervera (I think I have seen her here in any Italian thread about her).
Indeed a high percentage of people of Andalusia is Gypsy. I would not say a 10% but whatever.
I am not Andalusian and I could not care less.
This thread is about this Italian. According you is Gypsy but for the moment you can not show it.
It is very funny that people accuse me to say every dark Spaniard is Gypsy

According to others, Italians are practically Austrians whereas Spaniards are Berbers and Gypsies...it depends who you ask.

tbh this whole "whose more MENA" business between Italian and Spanish trolls is a bit embarrassing to watch sometimes...

Can't we just accept that there are exotic types in Italy and Spain both and that the two populations just differ, it doesn't make one of them better or worse or more European or less? Genetically Spaniards are more mainstream European but it's getting to the point where, who cares?

Gypsies have their natural facial features and complexion.

Italians, like this footballer, have theirs own.

They are different to each other.

Esposito just looks like an Italian from Naples or La Campania. Here, indeed, he would be confused as a Gypsy. That is true.

On the last picture, an older man with similar characteriscs can be seen behind him.

But he has no specifical external signs which confirm he is really a Gypsy, except perhaps his marked skin darkness and some weird -not gypsy- facial features.

But there is absolutely no problem about.

N.B.: Spaniards don't want to look like Brits nor like Nordic. That is a common, morbid and perverse thought yawl have and yawl ought to throw away from your minds. We are Spaniards, Iberians. End point.
