Paleontologists Announce Discovery of 4-million-year-old Whale Fossil in Santa Cruz County Area

Researchers have just announced the discovery of a 4-million-year-old fossil of a whale, which they uncovered at a construction site in Santa Cruz County.
The team found the bones on Sept 4, according to paleontologist Scott Armstrong of Paleo Solutions. This is the Los Angeles County-based archaeological consulting service that was eventually assigned to the project.
