He doesn't look punjabi at all. He is very dark skinned, but he still has the Spanish facial features. I could see him getting mistaken as Kurdish, Turkish, or Syrian, but not Indian. But that's moreso because of his skin color and some of his facial features.

Well just look at personal taxonomy. Nearly every second thread is comparing Italians, especially South Italians with Syrians, Saudi Arabians. That gets very annoying!

Yes some of these threads can be silly, not just mine,but any other members. You only have to go to personal Taxonomy to see nearly every second thread is comparing Italians especially south Italians with Syrians, Saudi Arabians etc. Although my father doesn't come from the south, but those kind of threads are annoying and for some people can be hurtful.

South Italians look nothing like Saudi Arabians, those people are just ignorant and it is better to just ignore trolls and let them waste their energy.

South Italians and Syrians however, do genetically and phenotypically overlap. But Syrians aren't dark. Most of the comparing between Syrians, Lebanese, etc, and South Italians are done by a Sicilian dude anyways.

Italian population is very heterogeneous. It exists several different types --and phenotypes-- of Italians from North to South.

From Central european phenotypes on the northern provinces until levantine, balkanite phenotypes in the south.

That's a fact in Italy.
