I wonder if we will ever get to see any Iron Age Greek genomes in the future. So far all we have dates from the neolithic unfortunately.

Could someone explain the meaning of these percentages?

I don't quite understand it. But some of these results show ancient Balkanites were mixed themselves.

this is cool but DNA Land isnt accurate. What about Gedmatch results?

It calculates ancestry based on modern populations from DNA.Land database (https://dna.land/), but it is not entirely accurate. If I recall correctly, Mortimer's balkan ancestry was detected as Italian on this site, so it just provides a rough estimation similar to gedmatch.

One gedmatch result is posted above for Gomolava Neolithic. Very similar to Anatolian farmers. Some results are very strange especially the northeast European affinity of the Iron Age Montenegrin. More info can be found on Anthrogenica forum.

So Serbs having 60%+ middle eastern means what?

The result dates back to 4600BC before such ethnicities existed. All European have near eastern ancestry from the neolithic farmers.

The OP are not Serbian samples. Just remains of ancient populations found in Serbia, I think.
