Ajram is not the lightest Maronite I've seen, but her features look odd, almost Balkan-like. Karam on the other hand, looks Arabian. Maronites are said to have more Phoenician than other Lebanese.

Excluding some beduin tribes aren't Syrians very much alike the Lebanese, phenotypically and genetically?

They're pretty much the same. Across most of the two countries. So you really can't say there is a specific phenotype with just Maronites

Isn't Najwa Karam Muslim, not Maronite?

Interesting how french rule made the lebaneses that stayed in Lebanon so different in think than lebaneses that migrated to Brazil during Ottoman rule.

Brazil is the great lebanese nation of the world, there are more lebaneses here than in Lebanon. These lebanese women follow a so strange standard of beauty for us, their appearence looks weird.

Here we claim we are proud christian arabs, we have even our arab prince:

It’s funny, 600 years of Arab occupation, 400 years of Ottoman occupation (1516-1920) versus 23 years of French occupation (1920-1943) ... it’s those 23 years that made all the difference?

These lebanese women follow a so strange standard of beauty for us, their appearence looks weird.
…and Brazilian standard of beauty is so strange for us and their appearance looks weird too. Maybe it’s because we live on 2 separate continents and having different language, upbringing, culture, education, etc…

Proud Christian arab in Brazil… you might be the desendent of the last Arab Christian from the Arabian Peninsula. There are no more Christian arabs.

we have even our arab prince
You might have your Arab prince, but you never had an Arab Church.

From Phoenicia.org:

There is no Arab Church

Keeping in mind the various cultural nature of the churches ...i.e. the Eastern Churches of the Syriacs, Maronites, Coptic, Assyrian, Armenian, Byzantine, Ethiopian ...etc. one has a big question mark when it comes to the absence of an Arab Church.

Though many speak of Arab Christians but the fact of the matter is most Arabic speaking Christians of the same churches are not Arab Christians but the original inhabitants of the East i.e. Maronites, Syriacs, Coptic, Assyrian, Byzantine who use Arabic as a secondary language in their church services in the Middle East. Most of the immigrant churches of the same all over the world use the native languages plus the Syriac, Greek, Assyrian ...etc. with a few exceptions. The only churches that use Arabic exclusively in their worship are Protestants of the Middle East, whose roots go back only to the 1800's. The fact that there is no Arab Church with specific cultural identifiers such as Arab style church buildings, Arab vestments, Arab iconology or traditions is a proof that this so-called church never existed in the same sense like the others.

There are no Arabic versions of the Bible previous to Islam, a fact which proves irrefragably that in its primitive period Christianity had secured no footing at all among the Arabs. Indeed it never secured such a footing, for the Arabic versions were not made for Arabs at all, but for Copts, and Near Easterners -- Lebanese, Syrians, Palestinians, Iraqis and others -- who had become Arabic speakers centuries after the advent of Islam. The full translation of the Bible into Arabic did not come about until nearly 150 years ago.

French rule was most recent and fresh and lebanese see them almost as ally, while muslims were opressors.

The average syro-lebanese brazilian girl is like this lebanese girl:

But their weird taste for make up (IMO) makes a lebanese girl try to look like a northern european woman (same girl):

Do you remember what assirians did with the Ten Lost Tribes of Israel? Disappeared with them in their internal deportations! Imagine what they did with phoenicians. Probable the true descendents of phoenicians are now in Iran.

But we can trace the whole origin and migration of Ghassanids (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghassanids) from Yemen to Levant.

This talks only about liturgical languages. Everybody knows that until few years ago the only liturgical language of western catholic church was the latin and eastern churches, the greek. And our prince is half maronite (father), half lebanese greek (mother).

Recommend a research about Melkite (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Melkite) Church.

In Lebanon maronites owner only a militia called kataeb. In Brasil maronites are the major leader of an army called Brazilian Army.

Brazilian president is tecnically a lebanese maronite.

Our military budget is greater than of Israel.
