Looking at Piazza Armerina and Troina, which are inland in the east in Enna province in an area without much contact with historical Europeans, you can see the increased percentages of E1b1b, J2, and G. R1b is very low in those regions, for Italian standards.

Trapani and the towns in that province have the highest R1b, while Ragusa has the highest J1 and R1a.

Odd because Piazza Armerina is one of the alleged Lombard settlements of Sicily.

Doesn't show up in their genes.

What subclades of R1a do they have?
