Navarro probably means she's from Navarra so she might be basque and basque people aren't real spanish, in fact they are more distant genetically from other Spaniards than South Tyroleans are from Italians. HA!

Today people with surname Navarro are not basque, just like García. And don't dream, the distance between Basques and Spaniards has nothing to do with distance between Tyorealns and North-Italians :
