I go to church alot. Take wife and kids with me then go for a coffee later with some others - do the same when I am at Greece. We really like it and look forward to it on Sunday mornings.

I listen to Byzantine music alot.. having said all that I don't consider myself to be religious but a place to chill out and relax its soul soothing...kids love going to church so why not?

Why is it? Believing in religion is essentially believing in afterlife and in the metaphysical.

I can understand that it is ridiculous to believe in an anthropomorphical God though, like the despot Allah, or even Jesus. But Jesus does not represent a human being though but rather a universal force like love.

I dont really believe in the scriptures but I like the cultural-community aspect of religion.

Don't fully get the after-life argument but also don't fully get the pre big bang theory. Both are pretty hard to prove. :P So best leaving an open mind.

It is possible that some sort of an afterlife exists, maybe free roaming the universe as a spirit, but man-made illusions such as heaven and hell are a farse.

I'm a Christian of the Catholic branch, and so is my entire family for as long as any of us can remember, for generation after generation. I'm a Spanish-American from Louisiana, USA.

Very odd I got Buddhism when actually I'm identifiying as a Muslim (but just identifiying since not prescribing to that will cause me much trouble)
