I am thinking about adopting a child from Moldova, but I dont know much about this country and neither about their children.

Can you help me with information about it? There is another European country with high poverty that you would recommend to adoption besides from Moldova?

Thank You.

*Sorry, I didnt notice that I wrote Moldávia in Portuguese on the title, not Moldova!

Just be sure that the kid is not a gypsy, I'm just warning you. Moldova is not Romania, but it's similar and in Romania a lot of the kids up for adoption are gypsies. If you want to adopt from a poor country Moldova is pretty much the one being the poorest in Europe. I'd just be sure the kid is not a gypsy. IDK how that is possible, but I am sure that you can get a picture of the kid or something.

Yes, they give us a list with pictures, maybe will be hard to "classify" some of them, but im gonna try...

Do you know if its a safe place? As I know we have to spend at least one month visiting the child.

Moldova is quite safe yes. I guess watch your wallet, but there is not a lot of violent crime and it's pretty much safer than most of Brazil, so no worries.
