Simple question meant to be fun. Yes there is a poll but it is invisible to protect the innocent (whomever that may be :D).

:love0044:

PS: Dedicated to those crazy love birds the Nglunds! :D

Crazy-in-lovedness knows no age, or at least it shouldn't. :D

Oh, sure! But men become cynical and women pragmatical. We can get crazy again but not innocent any more.

Bahh innocence is highly overrated anyway. It's the craziness that's fun! :D

Love poem

You are my moment and my dream,
My glorious word within the sounds,
You are as beautiful as you are the secret,
You are the truth as much as the lust.
Stay unreachable, silent and far,
As for dream of happiness is more than happiness itself.
Be one time flame, as youth.
Let your shadow and echo be all to be remembered by.
Heart is writing its history on a falling tear,
On an immense pain that love marks its target.
The truth is only dreaming of the soul.
Kiss is the most beautiful meeting in the world.
You are the image of my apparition,
Your sunny décor knitted through my dream.
You were the fascination of my thought,
Symbol of all conceits, defeated and icy-cold.

But you don’t exist, neither you ever did.
Born within my silence and despair,
From the Sun of my heart you were shining
Because everything we worship – we have created ourselves

It gets better with age, as they say `The Older The Fiddle, The Sweeter The Tune` :D

Yeah.... :(

Friend, only sad love stories are true love stories. Don't be sad, as I am not either. I know I loved and I know I will love again and I am happy because of that :). Sounds odd? You are right, It is, because love is the greatest misfortune and happiness at the same time for those who love.

'Autumn Is Coming My Quince'

That morning I arrived in economy class
and went home from the station quickly, through gardens and shortcuts well know.
And in the army I found a 'friend til the end'
and got a chronical arthritis, souvenir from the guardian days.
I entered walking on a tiptoe,
my mother was already awake and she crossed herself quickly.
She said: It passed in a split of second,
it's good that you came, there is wedding right next to us
so they will play for you, and you will chose (songs).
The wedding was like any other, what else to say,
parade of drunkeness and bad taste,
and a well-know girl dressed in white.
I already wished them health and happiness
she grabbed the flowers from my hands
and hid her look under the veil.
Then the Gipsies saw me,
the godfather asked for a song,
but they dont care because now I am here.
Wide smile and a golden tooth,
I know it's not easy for you,
but dont be harsh today
but command what to play.
Play the song "Autumn is comming my quince", an early autumn
let the tambourine in transe ring.
I know this song is not for celebrations and weddings
but I have to hear that romance
Play the song "Autumn is comming my quince", but slowly
so that I wouldnt miss a word
take the glasses and pitchers away
I would break the world as a joke
if it only was made of glass, my quince
I'm going home rarely, and I'm writing even less
and the photos are fading away
so the nice ones are pushing out ugly ones
But sometimes I order a drink and that's how it goes
and I come to her wedding
all real loves are sad
I dont talk about it with anyone
that wave goes by quickly and I know I will sink
gipsies come as a rescue
they have heart for all of us, they dont care
they ask me what to play

Oh, the topic of this thread is have you ever been *crazy in love* not have you ever experienced love at first sight. My bad... yeah, I have been, and each time was disastrous. Sometimes I think that in any relationship, on person is going to love or be infatuated with the other person more, and that's just the way it is.

Once, never have since.

In a strange way I found the experience disturbing as well as exhilarating and intoxicating , I like to be in control, my (limited) experience of love is that you aren’t for much of the time, which for me isn’t pleasant (note I don’t mean in control of others I mean in control of me).

Crazily in love, once. It was not reciprocated, at the time.

I nearly killed him, he very nearly killed me.

That was the end of my homosexual sojourn.

At 15 i met a 19 yr old girl on holiday, she was staying at her aunts house, her cousin was my friend at the time, i remember seeing this girl everyday through the holiday period.
Call it puppy love, but i was devastated when she had to go back home to Norwich.

I am still crazy in love from more than 2 years and a half. It is little bit strange, because we are both 16. Most of the people don't have serious relationships in their teen years... :D

I am right now. :)

This reminds me to my Jewish great-grandparents. They met each other when they were very young, around their 20's, escaped the Russian antisemitism and came to Argentina together.

They remained together until my great-grandmother died, around her 80's. One of his children one time asked him, "you don't look too bad for your age (she was older than him)... why don't you date anyone else now?". He replied: "Rebecca was the only woman I have ever and will ever love". He died shortly after, few months after Rebecca's death.

You don't see such love that much, anymore...

PD: I remember I had a picture of both of them on my PC. Here they are, they must be in their 60's here I guess...:

Then there is my Italian great-grandparents too... similar story but I don't know much details. Loved each other very dearly, until one of them died, other one died shortly after. They also met there, in Italy... and moved to Argentina because of war. Love knows no barriers it seems... :)
