Still more mediterrean then iranid , hardcore iranos look much different. He only passes in northwest iran , i would guess him as sephardi in this picture before full iranian

black hair is only present among romas and some sephardis (but this guy hair is dark brown , my bad) , mine is dark auburn and it's already darker than average. anyway he doesnt pass even if he is predominantly med, not only for facial features but for his skin color, it's naturally dark.. not tanned, and southern italians can tell the difference between each other

i usually say when a mena passes , he doesnt. i havent seen anyone looking like him and in real life he probably looks more exotic.

As you can see all 4 of these examples are atypical but are still sicilian/ southern italian but if they werent sicilian people would say they cant pass also . the OP would be very atypical too but the phenotype variation is so big it would be unlikely he would be taken for foreigner.. But " passing" is pretty loose anyway and is no big deal , most people " pass " places
