View Full Version : Why is it that Spaniards are so different from other western Europeans

They aren't similar to British or Germans or most Italians and other western Europeans who i think people agree all pretty much look the same as each other. Spaniards have the western European haplogroup Spaniards R1b and Spain is geographically in western Europe so why are they so different? Is it because of their history with Moors? Because Spain is so sunny and mediterranean making them have darker hair and eyes and swarthier? Because Spain hasnt had much contact with the rest of western and northern Europe? I'm just curious as to why they're so exotic compared to the rest of western Europe
