with all respect, enflamme, the chart you used is dodecad and allthough my definition of term is different, the west asia in that calculator s definition is not middle east. it is very opposite of middle east. but south west asian = middle east.

at moment i couldnt find mds plot for that k10 but here is another from dodecad:

plus, the reason why sardinians is shown to have a single component in that big ratio is because they/similar are used as reference population for south european admixture self despite that south european includes many admixture in it. thats why there are shown as 100 % same thing (well not 100 % exactly though, we see some small other admixtures colors in sardinians and these are extra amounts they have of some whats also included in their major component)

so next time if one refers to some sort of south oriental influence for europeans, you can make sure its not from west asian but from south west asian, or excess of med (due lumped components attached to it) and (over)lack of north euro component, if you refer to dodecad calculator. west asian component (of this calculator) makes one whiter -- colloquially. but geographic west asia is some thing different. and geographically west asian populations are not composed fully of this white component but instead they have bunch of south west asian (semitic), some south euro (i mean component) and no north euro (component). lebanese for instance as geographical core west asians have no tangible north euro but have 33 % west asian compoent according to this dodecad calculator and if any thing this is what makes them whiter -- what ever that means. in addition they have 26.5 % south west asian component which is middle eastern and gives the south oriental look if i had to speak as if we could relate gipothetical components with physical apperance the way you do. :)
