As Canadians did we ever think we would live to see the day where our own government is in fear of being overthrown? That would be something like a punch line in a joke of one kind or another, like if Tim Hortons was shut down, or if the NHL locked out for another year. This kind of talk would have never been possible by them without 9/11.
