I posted this over in the U.S. specific part of the forum, but I thought my Italian mates might get a kick out of this story. Carl Paladino, whose parents were Italian immigrants to the U.S., might very well upset the established candidates to win the Republican nomination as New York's governor. Today, 9/14 is Republican primary day, and I can't vote for him, not being a Republican, but assuming he wins out, he's got my vote in November- paisan or not. I think he's got a fighting chance given that New York state has lots of Italian Americans.
