A paper with ca. 80 samples of aDNA from the East Baltic region, ranging from the Mesolithic to the Iron Age, will be published soon. Also another publication with aDNA from Pre-Migration Period and Post-Migration Period Poland is almost ready to get published.

Feel free to speculate on Y-DNA haplogroups and other stuff. :p

Earliest samples would be some variety of I2 (possibly won't be found at all if we're talking about Late Mesolithic), then N1c and I1 in Late Meso and Neolithic, and finally R1 appearing in Bronze Age.

Ι personally believe that a migration from Italy happened at some point. And that's why I believe that:

Not sure when though. Maybe not ancient.

in those days R1 were in North America (nowadays red-skinned = unable to tan R1b Brits or R1a Poles) still

Vandaal,

Native American Y-DNA haplogroups are Q1a2a1(L54), C2b1a1a(P39) and Q1a1a (F746).

Everything else came after Columbus, including R1 found in modern Native Americans:

NOT TRUE

True, all subclades of R1 found in Native Americans are typically Western Eurasian.

And there is no R1 in ancient DNA from America. Wiki is not a reliable source here.

PS:

Maybe something remained there from the Vikings before Columbus, but I doubt it.

Can be - from them or from Celts.
It looks like some people landed in Hudsonbay.
Similar situation is with mt X.

And there is also a theory about Tocharians coming to America.
At least I read about it u Jagodzińskiego and on some english page,
but this second source was talking about different place and tribe.

Even if it would came to America thousands of years ago,
it is not problem, becasue source would be still IE tribe.

This Jagodzinski theory isn't legit for me.
