They look very Balkan.

Italy more than Hungary tbh.

There are Pontid element, the Pontid rare in Italy. The Italians rather Gracile/East Meds, Atlanto Meds, Dinaro Meds or Alpino Meds.

They look a cross of Romans, Turks, Slavs which is what Romanians are more or less.

He could easily be spanish, i don't see how he looks distinictly balkan. The people here look med like italians and greeks obviously different to hungarians.

Make no mistake I don't deny that romanians can look like hungarians but these people in particular rreally don't look hungarian to me. But RN97 said it on the first page, he selected the mediterranean looking ones.

These people look more Balkan (esp. East Balkan) than Med.

They don't look West Balkan, because they have not enought Dinarid. They have much more Pontid, so they look more East Balkan (Bulgarian, Macedonian, maybe West Turkish).

From such a large group of pictures I might've expected at least 1-2 to pass in Hungary, but I can completely say that none of them could actually pass as Hungarian, they have very atypical faces compared to us, overtly Med-Balkanic mix, but most of all they look very Romanian.

The point of this thread was to choose darker Romanians. I did this a long time ago, I know there are plenty of Romanians who'd pass in Hungary no problem.

Yes, these football players wouldn't look out of place in Hungary, but most still have an East Slavic look, which isn't that characteristic in Hungary.

Overall they pass in Greece better than somewhere else..
Some pass in Southern Italy very well
Some would look more Serbian....

I think I posted somewhere today Apulia is the most Greek region in Italy, followed by Lucania and SE Sicily so these people could pass in all of these + Greece.
