E-V22 and E-V65 (a3 and a5) are from Syria and the Maghreb, but they're also found in Greeks in some percentages ranging from 1 to 3%.

No, otherwise it'd show up in their autosomal DNA and it does not.

I know that south Greeks are notorious for high MENA scores while north Greeks tend to score less likely because of the Slavic influx.

Anyway, autosomal is irrelevant because this is about YDNA and carrying E-V22 or 65 is a definite proof of having non-Balkan origins. In other words, they have a number of Hellenized MENAs part of the Greek ethnos.

Southern mainlanders do not score any more MENA than the north...

The difference is Crete and some islands, versus the rest of the country.

You wish don't you? That % you quote does not exist in all Southern European population. Menas have never been at any point been part of the Greek population.

And learn what Hellenize means you moron. It does not mean becoming Greek and never meant such a thing.

DNA results say otherwise. Don't get angry at me, but the results. ;)

Autosomal DNA is what counts.

We know that M-78 existed in Neolithic Hungary.

Well I am a Southern mainlander. Greeks still remain overwelmingly Greek. The Slavic in Greeks is only slightly more than Albanians and pretty much irrelevant. If it was not we'd cluster with Bulgarians who also have some Greek blood. And despite that we cluster nowhere near them except a few outliers and cluster with S.Italians and Albanians like we did before the Slavs set foot in the region.

You aren't "nowhere near Bulgarians" but halfway between them and southern Italians.

The results can be very flux depending on the sample and the number of people. I saw a chart awhile ago showing ethnic Bulgarians with large % of gypsy L haplotypes.

The only ones that post these kind of "results" are Fyromians and Bulgarian nationalists, are you also going to post "results" about how we are related to Subsaharan's too? Oh wait, you have done that countless times before.

Of course you never open threads about the gypsies and any asiatic avar and Turkish influenced Bulgarian. You call them all gypsies and you're done.

Btw Bulgaria is missing from the chart, how very convenient.

Greeks went to MENA, rather than vice versa. At least historically. It would be more accurate to say Syrians and North Africans had Greek ancestors if anything. As there are still Greek communities living in places like Syria and Libya

Greeks in the MENA region moved back to Greece when the Arab conquest occurred (and also moved to Greek colonies in Italy, in Turkey, etc.).
