The biological reproductive process takes one half of the DNA code of each parent and with genetic recombination (2 ^23 making 8 million possible combinations) the evolutionary process makes an entirely new DNA code that has never existed before, which means not only everyone is a uniquely distinct individual, but everyone is mixed. The concept of race is not only false but promoting haplogrouping is a fraud.

Each generation, half is passed on and half is lost to future generations, and only after 7 generations there is no genetic access to one's ancestry, so the only real identity one can claim is their own DNA code.

Seems like a waste of money.
Some people like it so they can tout being "pure" whatever.

I find 23andme more accurate and scientific. AncestryDNA is seemingly more popular though. Most of the Youtube DNA results vids are of people sharing Ancestry.com results.

This theory is too simple!

Case study 1: Any area is a closed mountain valley; no matter that half DNA passed and half is lost, everyone in this area is related to most other people in this valley - and no DNA ist lost!

Case study 2: Any country is full of immigrants and next generations are totally mixed of different ethnics. In this case you can find DNA-fragments of different ethnics in the genom of individuals; most time you can find different roots of any person; but their phenotype look strange most time, cause of too much mix. Sometimes any phenotype predominates, and you cannot see the other roots of this person.

Ancestry DNA is able to check out different roots of any person, and they can find close relatives (cousins 3. and 4. range,...?) --------- but dont waste too much money for that ;)
