Alessia Gazzola, from Messina. She's a medical examiner who had her novels recently made into a TV series.

Her look is present in Greece. But she can probably pass in most Balkan countries. She looks more eastern than western.

Med-Gorid.

She doesn't strike me as looking particularly Greek or Balkan, but yes – at least in the first photo – there's an Eastern Euro vibe. As to where else she passes, IMO in the Alpine zone and Central Europe.

Agree, she reminds me a bit Alenka Bratušek in the first pic.

Whatever she looks, it is a look I have never seen in Sicily. Interesting to know it exists.

She has a North Italian surname, not a Sicilian one.

I changed the topic title, but I couldn't find anything that says she isn't Sicilian – she doesn't say so in any interview I found. Gazzola could be her married name (her husband is from Piedmont apparently).

She is not Gorid, she is Alpine and looks western.

This is Gorid, clear baltoid influence.

Then why you changed it ? Because according to some members of this forum pure Sicilians can't be light eyed alpinids ?

It is a Lombard surname. She could be part Sicilian Lombard.

Anyway I still think Gorid.

zero gorid influence lol. by looking at these pictures i would guess her as some sort italian first and then french and then german or austrian or swiss and finally perhaps iberian. not saying she cant pass in other places, she can even be typical in many other but these are my first guesses. second picture is amazingly beautiful by the way. all three pictures look different.

Alpine; looks generally Central European.
