Referendum on the lon-gun registry

Was the water cooler talk at work today, so I decided to take it to the forum: How would you vote if there was a referendum to scrap the long-gun registry?

I think it should be scrapped. The taxpayer money used to keep the gun registry could be used for more important things, like helping the poor, education, or health care.
