yeah they are kalash , regular chitrali feather is white while their is colored.

Chitrali people in general are lighter than avg Pakistani Pashtun.

btw,don't you think there's too much emphasis on insignificant communities like the Kalash who only number in the thousands? I mean its ok when you focus on regular Chitralis since they are a significant population, but kalash who only number around 3000-5000 is a very small ass insignificant community in my book.

its because of their customs , people found them interesting otherwise their arent much pheno differences between a regular chitrali and kalash.

That's not true all the time, its varies by tribe/region.

Northern PAK Pashtuns and northern AFG Pashtuns are closer to each other than either are to their southern neighbors. The northerners have slightly more ASI. But as a whole, Afghan Pashtuns are a bit lighter when comparing them but it is not like the difference between Gazans and West Bankers, its more similar to Syrians and Lebanese I'd say.

Bulk of Pakistan is still rural , vast majority of Pakistan was rural just two decades ago , so marriages outside of tribe are rare let alone outiside of ethnicity.But In liberal cities like Islamabad where all communities live in close proximity to each other its possible.
