Plz, we need regional forum.
At least you can unite Georgia and Armenia in Caucasus regional forum. But better if you give us separate forum.
We can post some information about country and people.

They dislike the fact that Georgia is culturally and historically vise been part of Europe way longer before than many so called "European" country today.

Most of people here never seen real Georgian in life, but they are experts :D
Thats why i want regional forum for Georgia.
Just to show what the country look like.

There is no reason why we shouldn't have a Georgian section -- one can be added.

Svaneti is known not only for beautiful mountains, but also for towers erected mainly in the 9th-12th centuries. In the province are dozens of Georgian orthodox churches and fortified buildings. Architectural monuments of Upper Svanetia are included in a list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Svan culture survives most wonderfully in its songs and dances. Svanetia boasts arguably the most archaic three-part polyphonic singing. Most of their songs are connected to round dances, are performed very loud and are full of dissonant chords

Post smt. about Georgian cuisine and wines, pls!

Sure : )

Georgia is one of the oldest wine regions in the world. The valleys of the South Caucasus house the source of the world's first cultivated grapevines and neolithic wine production, from over 8,000 years ago. Due to the many millennia of wine in Georgian history, and its key economical role, the traditions of its viticulture are entwined and inseparable with the country's national identity.

Among the best-known regions of Georgia where wine is produced is Kakheti region.
http://b.pix.ge/b/tqso2.jpg (http://pix.ge/)
Kakheti is located in south eastern part of Georgia. Great Caucasus mounts from north and Lesser Caucasus Mounts from South protect Kakheti's fertile valleys from extreme cold and extreme hot and we get a perfect climate for wine making.

Alaverdi monastery founded in 6th century, surrounded by vineyards. Monks still make traditional monastery wine there.

Signagi is main town in region, overlooking valleys with vineyards is best destination to try traditional Georgian wine.

lol i can't understand even a word ))) Probably the lady has very strange accent )) or maybe this is Batsbi language related to Chechen language? Batsbi or Tushs are Vainakh people, who came from Chechnya in 16th century and became Christians. But they still feel strong conections with Chechens and Ingushs.

Do you easily understand Batsbi?
I love them, they are so much integrated among Georgians and they still keep their language.

It's the same as you compare Russian with Czech, or German with English. Chechens barely understand Batsbi speakers, and furthermore I didn't even know of their existence

Maybe you were thinking about the Georgia section which went down with the forum.

Or this: I'd made a Caucasus section and moved Armenia to there. Then people complained about it and I moved it back to the regional section.
