Wikipedia says he is Swedish. Yet, his surname sounds Finnish to me.

he's not the only Swedish footballer with Finnish last name. I don't know but I suspect Swedes of Finnish origin don't speak Finnish while Swedes in Finland do speak Swedish :coffee:

he looks more Scando than the other Swedish Finns I saw (in pictures) (as opposed to Finnic).

for example Jonas Lantto looks much more Finnic:

I know many many Finnish heroes who have lived in Sweden many many decades and don't speak word of Swedish.

I know many many Finnish heroes who have lived in Sweden many many decades and don't speak word of Swedish.

how can they achieve that? do they have their own communities, like villages? for example here in Romania my dad and the relatives on his side manage to get to speak Ukrainian 100% of the time because they have their own small region and exclusive villages, but when they go to the nearest town some 50-60km away they need to speak Romanian at the market to those there.

also, why do you call them heroes?

also, is there still any immigration from Finland to Sweden (both Finnish and Swedish ethnics I mean)

Because Finland is a bilingual country. If you speak Swedish you don't have to speak Finnish and vice versa.
