Most of people who are interested in ancient DNA probably know Genetiker's blog:

But he was very mysterious, and did not reveal any personal details about himself.
He registered on Eupedia (in order to participate in a thread about Iberian aDNA), and his country flag suggests, that he is from Peru. Is he really Peruvian? BTW, he has admitted in that thread, that R1b-M269 folks came to Western Europe from the Eastern European Steppe, as the result of Indo-European migrations - something about which he used to be in denial for a long time. However, he is now arguing that first IEs came to Iberia from the Steppe already before 3000 BC (not after 2000 BC, as most people claim):
