Yes, they are quite different.

Also shows that this "mediterranean" is highly mesolithic. Most southern euro don't score that much of it relatively, more a mix of mediterranean and sw_asian (east med type of stuff).

The reason Sardinians don't score Balochi is they have no ANE/IE, Basques do because of their little IE. On the other hand Sardinians have east med/sw_asian type of admix so they score "caucasian".

Basques score much more "northern-euroepan" than sardinians,

which also explains their much northern position than Sardinians on PCA plot :

According to posts from Anthrogenica, Sardinians and Basques could be modelled as:

http://www.anthrogenica.com/showthread.php?9264-Population-history-of-the-Sardinian-people-inferred-from-whole-genome-sequencing/page3

Sardinian
"Baalberge_MN" 28
"Remedello_BA" 25.3
"Armenia_EBA" 15.9
"Anatolia_Neolithic" 10.5
"Iberia_Chalcolithic" 10
"Jordan_EBA" 6.7

Basque_Spanish
"Bell_Beaker_Czech" 45.15
"Baalberge_MN" 16.2
"Iberia_MN" 15.5
"LBK_EN" 8.45
"Loschbour" 5.5
"Satsurblia" 4.35
"Remedello_BA" 4.05

Basque_French
"Bell_Beaker_Czech" 38.4
"Baalberge_MN" 26.85
"Remedello_BA" 17.7
"Armenia_EBA" 6.3
"LaBrana1" 5.6

Thus:

(1) Lack of Steppe admixture in Sardinians,
(2) Lack of "West Asian" admixture in Basques.

Look at this beautiful separation: while there are ethnic groups that are either more in the north like the Basques or more in the center like the Iberians (and other), or more to the south like the Sicilians, the Sardinians are the most left, very distant and This is very good!

How little is it? I think it isn't little.
(I would just call it Yamnaya-like, not only because I think Yamnaya wasn't IE but also because Yamnaya-like admixture in most of Europe didn't came from Yamnaya proper imo but I won't insist on that. You can ignore it)

About 10% Yamnaya like. Personally i think it's not even Yamnaya for the most part but pre IE ANE, as they usually score low to very low caucasus stuff and there s the whole R1b dilemma.
