Ukrainian Kysil or Kisiel? Person from Old Volhynia, Russian Empire. Orthodox religion. Pronounced, I believe, Key-CELL. Does this name have any meaning or history?

Ok, Sasha Kiselev from Russia, dude I found on internet, :D sent me a message: "It's an old Russian kind of soup, today is known just as a fruit-ish jelly-beverage ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kissel ), but in the old days it was made out of anything, but fruits. Mostly out of rye, barley and oat. Name comes from Russia of 15-17 century. My surname is Kiselev, pronounced in English as \kise'ləf\ kee-se-LOFF (means a son of Kisiel or made of Kisiel or just Kisiel)."
