was that guy really the one in Berlin? or did they do it so the media stops the articles and the officials don't get a bad image? I'm just wondering, I'm not saying anything. the Berlin thing was outrageous anyway, and shameful, but I wonder - are they really effective on catching such terrorists?

terrorism is more or less a new phenomenon for many european countries. but it isnt for italy, its intelligence has been trained in catching them for more than 40 years :

75 years ago German soldiers had to rescue your ancestors after they - in a typical Italian fashion - got themselves in a pickle in Greece. Nowadays it are Germans loosening the belt too much?

I find most of those parodies silly and unfunny. The Israel one however is clever.

His surname is Scatà, marked with a grave accent in the final vocal. Very often this type of Sicilian (and Calabrian) surname is of Greek origin.

This accent exactly means shit. I mean, literally, shit.
We don't have any surname ''shit'' though. We do have many unfortunate surnames, but I haven't heard of skata.

All what I've found so far is that scatà is considered Greek ρωμαίϊκο and it was a common word in the Greek medieval communities in Italy, so common that was used even by Italians, exactly with that meaning, shit. It could be a surname based on a local nickname of Greek origin. So it hasn't correspondent among the modern Greek surnames.

"scatà (greco romeico) = escremento"

According to a book, Scatà was a surname given to the orphans in Sicily, especially in the Sicilian areas where the Greek was still the main language during the Middle Ages. So this book seems to confirm that scatà derives from that. :D
