I do not know, I think it can be an illusion or this is really "bridled" eyes caused perhaps by an influence CM. My brother has the same eyes.

Maybe this is due to a CM (archaic) influence that can give that kind of eyes or Asian eyes illusion.

Those eyes are derived from the Greek Kouros, it's not a naturalistic sculpture.

I will try to find information about him, but on the different pages that post different Sardinian faces: I have never seen a non-Sardinian person or with a surname that was not of Sardinian origin. .

Yesterday I was watching a Sardinian TV and there was a woman talking about traditional pottery, she was the perfect example of what I was talking of, except her slanted eyes were light blue.

I've found few pictures of her, her surname is Licheri (pronounce Likéri) 100% Sardinian surname from the central areas of the island.
