Mostly good answers, but I do find it odd how you often separate Spain and Portugal so far from each other, as well as Northern and Southern Italy.

I think Spanish and Portuguese differ more than other people think. Also, if I was to make the Italian options closer it'd involve moving northern Italy down, not southern Italy up.
