Reminds me of the Nganasan on the right, atleast in terms of the lack of forehead, other features look more normal.

I don't know what a "contemporary Neanderthal" is. The mere concept seems like a contradiction to me.
Take another look at the picture. Look closely at the eyes of the individual in question.
