A young girl from Wiltshire became an internet star this week after her mother filmed her delivering an impassioned tirade about Tesco’s children’s clothing.

Daisy Edmonds, 8, was with her mother in a Swindon branch of the supermarket when she became angered by the differences between t-shirt aimed at boys, and those aimed at girls.

As her mother Becky filmed her, Daisy highlighted how the boys’ shirts featured slogans like “Desert adventure awaits", "Hero" and "Think outside the box” – while the girls’ said "Hey!", "Beautiful" and "I feel fabulous."
"It's unfair because everyone thinks girls should just be pretty and boys should just be adventurous,” Daisy says.

"I think that's wrong because why should boys and girls clothes even be separate because we're just as good as each other."

As Becky continues to film, Daisy, who has two younger sisters, smiles mischievously as she takes some of the boys’ t-shirts and says: “I think the girls ought to be heroes, so I’m going to put them in the girls’ section.”

The video has been viewed more than 70,000 times on Facebook.

Becky, 36, a support worker from Oaksey, told reporters: "Daisy doesn't understand why there has to be separation. It's the same with toys.

"She loves exploring and being brave, and there is never anything that says anything like that on girls' clothes.

"She thinks they should have unisex clothing. She should be able to choose what she wears.

"Who are Tesco to tell them what they can and can't wear?"

"When I saw what Daisy was doing I felt really really proud that she knows who she is. She is so confident.

A Tesco spokesperson said: "We stock a wide variety of clothes suitable for girls and boys and listen to the views of our customers when reviewing our range.

"We'd like to thank Daisy for her feedback and we can assure her that new styles will be arriving in stores shortly."

The mother is free to open a new shop with non sexist clothes. Then the shop will go bankrupt. All are happy.

I'm not. Not at all.

Instead of just buying the t-shirt for boys her mother made some video clip. There was a simple solution but she decided to make a video.
I don't see the achievement.

The acheivement is to get money from youtube and made some propagand for the parents ideas.

Chance are high that the girl just repeat what her mother told her to say.
