I should explain this image. It is a computer simulation of an airship designed by Ludwig II of Bavaria. His plan for a machine that could actually fly was part of the evidence for insanity in the move to depose him. Recent analyses have determined that it actually could have flown, so perhaps Ludwig was ahead of his time.

Despite my grandpa who lives in the same city with me has a blue Renault Clio which he never uses, he is not willingly to give this car to me. However my mom is thinking about having a new car so after having my driving licence, I'll have her Audi a6. I am still afraid of driving in such a big city like İstanbul. Not because of danger but because of the stress which traffic jam brings. My dad had ulcer in a young age, one of the reasons was stressful life(especially traffic jam). After he married my mom and moved to Central Anatolia, his ulcer suddenly finished :D

Muscle cars are much more badass, louder, cooler looking and in general much more powerful than those Euro cars with a whiny exhaust sound. You probably don't know the feeling of driving across the countryside with the roar of a V8 muscle car, but I do. Yeah, I sure do...and there's nothing like it.

Your Mercedes/BMW is made for luxury, a necessity for metrosexuals, real men drive muscle cars.

Most of the compliments I get on my car are from men in their 40s-50s who are nostalgic for the beginning of the muscle car era. The new Challenger is retro-fashioned, which is why it's so badass. It doesn't have the generic design most of these newer cars have.

The roar of a V6 BMW is fine for me, gas isn't dirt-cheap here like in the US.

Your Mercedes/BMW is made for luxury, a necessity for metrosexuals, real men drive muscle cars.

If I wanted luxury, I wouldn't have bought a BMW E39. Real men drive BMWs here, American cars are a rare sight here, as they break often and are low-quality and not meant for this climate. Us, Northerners, want good quality. BMWs are for racing, not luxury. Mercedes is luxury.

If you drove a car with a roaring V8, you'd think differently. It's well worth the sacrifice in MPGs, any hot blooded male can attest to that. I've driven various muscle cars, they're on another level.

My Challenger has 80K miles on it, never broken down. I've driven across several different states with it as well.

I can hit a top speed of 180 mph (290 kmh) in my Challenger SRT8 which is in its stock form, can your car do that? I'd also win in a drag race, 0-60 in a little over 4 seconds

After that they won't notice your small dick? :p

On the contrary, the car gives them a better idea of how big my package is, so they know to expect something larger than average. If I owned a BMW, they'd think I was over-compensating as most BMW owners do :)

Estonia is in the far north, we have snow here practically from October until April, thus American cars just can't handle the climate, while BMWs, Audis etc. are better quality and don't fall apart.

The few people who own American cars here, only drive them during the summer, as the cars aren't good enough to handle the winter.

My 17-year old 2-liter BMW E39 has reached 235 KM/H which.

And of course your "American muscle car" would win in a drag-race. As I said earlier, American cars can only drive in straight lines. :D Just look at Nascar. BMWs have exceptional handling.

Touche. Perhaps it's more practical in your neck of the woods. I hate driving my car in the rain or snow, it's so powerful that it's tricky to accelerate without slipping.

Muscle cars were made for the summer/spring. I'd rather drive cross-country with my window down than drive in a rain or snowstorm with a luxury car. I bet I have more fun driving than you do :)

The newer muscle cars have improved greatly in that department. Here's the thing. Muscle cars appeal to those who want a car with badass looks, a loud engine, speed and acceleration. BMWs (along with Audis and Mercedes) appeal to those who want a sporty, sophisticated looking luxury car. Personally, I'd take the muscle car because that's what fits my personality.

There's nothing more fun than drifting on the frozen sea or frozen lakes with a rear-wheel BMW. It's so cold here in the far north that the sea freezes and we can drive our cars across the sea to our islands. Drifting is usually done on frozen lakes.

lol, nobody considers BMW a luxury car here. BMWs are seen as a symbol of "badass looks", a loud engine and speed here. Mostly young hunks drive BMWs.

Luxury cars here: Mercedes, Lexus, Land Rover, Porsche, newer Audis, Jaguars etc.

There are no weak spots, the ice is so thick that it can carry trucks, this is the far north. During winter-time, Estonia has the longest ice-road in entire Europe, connecting the island of Hiiumaa to the mainland. It's 26 kilometres long.

Looks just like this except the side ribbon on the back door is missing, the rear bumper is crashed in and the trunk doesn't open.

My ride. I'd take an American muscle car over a BMW or Mercedes anyday.

http://www.ob-photo.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/08/08_dodge_challenger_srt8_6.jpg

My first car back in the mid 1980s was a Muscle Car.

1974 Chevy Nova with a rebuilt, 350 V8 HP Engine. Thing seriously flew:
http://people.smu.edu/acambre/nova/novamcavoy74/novamcavoy74rear.jpgIt was a great car to have as a young chick lol. Guys would pull up next to me at traffic lights and offer to race me. I usually left em' in the dust lolol

Whenever I pull up at a stop-light and spot a VW Beetle, I always look to see if the chick driving it is hot (most owners are women) but when it's a guy driving the car I facepalm.

A chick driving a muscle car is awesome if you ask me, especially if they're down to race.

German, Italian, and Jap cars> American cars. I will never buy or drive an American car. Those are the worst cars to drive, add to the fact that they waste gas like no tomorrow. My Honda civic is good enough for me, until I can get myself a 2002 Nissan Skyline R34. :D

I am not a fan of American cars as a rule. Muscle cars are the exception. However, recent legislation here in the states has made it such that American cars being produced now have much higher performance standards.....and they all get far better gas mileage than they used to.

Here some of the cars I owned or own.

The Merc was modified and was doing 0 - 100 in just under 5.

The Niva was also modified with some German auto parts and Ukrainian tractor parts.

This is going to be embarrassing amongst all the muscle cars here, but it gets me where it needs to be and it works.

2004 Fiat Uno Mia

I bought it brand new, and almost 10 years later it has 65 000km on the clock. (Sixty five thousand - I don't drive much.)

Nothing wrong with that car, we used to have the Fiat Fire 2 door, it was a nice and a bit bumpy ride.

I can fill it up R350-00 and it lasts me over a month and a half.

It lacks suspension but otherwise it really goes. It recently did a 1500km trip without any hassles.

Hatchbacks are awesome. My friend had a '90 Civic and it was deceptively roomy for transporting things.

Indeed they are :D

I like how sleek my car looks even though it's an older car, and this is silly, but I think the door handles are cool.

Think this exact car and now imagine both doors are smashed in such that the only way to get inside the car is to crawl through the window. I can't even find a picture of a Gremlin that looks as bad as ours did while still being drivable. We paid $50 for it and essentially, it was the only car we had through most of my pregnancy with my daughter.

All 18 year olds should be as lucky as fufuangeli to get a brand new car like the one she's getting. Seriously.
