Roberto Gómez Bolaños, also known as "Chespirito", was a Mexican comedian, widely known in all Latin America, and in several other countries for his roles in the popular 1970s series "El Chavo del 8" (the kid of the number 8) and "El Chapulin Colorado" (the red Chapulin) among others:

Please classify him, give your estimates for his Euro/Amerindian mix (If you think he has some Amerindian), and where do you think he could pass, including Europe, Asia, North and South America (besides Mexico). Do you think he could pass as native in your country??

Thanks in advance.

Some sort of Dinaro-Med? And whether he superficially passes or not in either Britain or Colombia, either way he looks odd and atypical for both.

In which European countries, and in which Latin American countries he could pass, in your opinion?? And why do you think that he would look odd and atypical for white Colombian??

Most white Colombians don't have such dinarization. He'd fit well in countries in the Americas with large Italian populations (Colombia doesn't especially) - Canada, USA, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Panama, Venezuela, Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, Chile. In Europe, he'd fit best as Italian, Maltese, Greek and maybe in some Balkan countries.

That's weird, because most of his Euro ancestry must be Spanish, as is the case of most white/near-white Mexicans.

And btw, do you think Puerto Rico, Costa Rica and Panama have more Italian descent people than Colombia?? I think I read once on the internet that there are at least 100K Italian descent Colombians. Much less Italian descent people than Venezuela, but still a decent number.

El Chavo del Ocho is exhibited with its reprises during almost 40 years uninterrupted in brazilian TV until today!

I think he is Atlanto-CM. Anyone pass as brazilian.

I know, that TV series was very popular, and is still very popular in all Latin America, and even among the Latin American population here in United States.

Can pass. Interesting to note the word "Chavo" like the English word "Chav" both come from Romani so are gypsy words in origin for "kid".

yup, many mexican words from Mexico City can trace their origin to Romani people
mexican slang uses the most romani words in the Americas

but those words are mostly used by lower class people in Mexico City
they also had the largest ROmani population in colonial days

Romani is actually kind of fascinating, I have a superficial knowledge and long time exposure to Urdu/Hindi so I have noted when hearing Roma speak Romani the amazing similarities that still exist it's kind of impressive that those links amongst others have remained between Roma and The Indian Subcontinent.

Lmaoooooo but not Mexico? :picard2::picard1:

His dinarization is due to his Mexican native blood. Many Mexican natives have convex noses.

His moms first cousin was former Mexican president Gustavo Diaz Ordaz Bolanos

Gustavo Díaz Ordaz Bolaños was a Mexican politician and member of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI). He was elected president 1964-1970.

Not to me.At best he passes in between mestizo-harnizo based on the pik dna threads.
His mothers cousin the former Mexican president Gustavo Diaz Ordaz is around 85-90% Amerindian.

That doesn't mean his mom will be the same amount Amerindian. They're cousins, not brothers.

And perhaps most of Diaz-Ordaz's Amerindian ancestry comes from the parent who isn't blood-related to Chespirito's mother.

Dinaro-Med. Looks Italian. Can pass in Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Venezuela, Iberia and Italy. I don't think he could pass as a typical White Colombian, considering we didn't receive so many Italian inmigrants in the XIX century.

Love his shows. :love0033:
