I did every major class of drug there is to do with my hippie friend in grad school. Cannabis, cocaine, ecstasy, amphetamines, LSD, and mushrooms. The only time I did opiates was when I had my wisdom teeth taken out. I also tried making poppy seed tea, which only made me vomit 4x and itch uncontrollably for 10 hours. Never again.

Amphetamines are my drug of choice. I have rarely felt so alive. I have to refrain from them however because they are too good.

I stopped taking everything that was making me sick all the time. Now it's basically just weed everyday which I view as fine but probably not a normal thing to do and LSD/other psychedelics once a month but I also think that's not really harmful.

Mushrooms known as liberty caps grow around here in fields and I went and plucked them.

On shrooms it felt like I was going mental, like life is all an illusion, we dont exist, I saw things from different perspectives and sometimes it can be negative, it went so fast that I was going nuts.. it felt like I was trapped in time and that I was going out of my body.. shrooms take you up and down, at first I had a really good positive experience, I felt full of joy and laughter.. I saw things from a different perspective regarding about many things in life.. so I thought I should take more and thats when it all backfired, what came to feel like I was in heaven turned into an absolute nightmare.

there are different shrooms but liberty caps really test you on both negative and positive level.

Psychedelics are definitely not for everyone.

I didn't eat them btw but put them in a tea pot , let them soak for some time then drank it with tea.

I don't like drugs but I heard how psychedelichs can be good, and I did have a good experience and if I hadnt upped the dose it would of probably remained that way. I still got some here left but I don't think I'll ever take it again. And I got some cubensis given from a friend which he claims is more mild.

I have most likely already contributed to this thread. I must say amphetamines are my drug of choice. I enjoy the mental clarity they provide and the euphoria is magnificent. Unfortunately, tolerance develops quickly. Also, the day after makes one feel lethargic.

I overdosed twice on heroin (I could have died) -- once on black tar heroin and once on china white heroin-- I probably shot heroin abou 10-12 times but since I never did it more than 2 or 3 times in a row or more than one or two days in a row so I never got 'hooked' (people have this idea that if you slamming a needle in your arm you are an instant junkie but that is not necessarily the case you could be just living dangerously or recklessly or impusively ). I will say that it gives you an opportunity to rise above your own self and look at yourself from a sort of third person view. It is a rather indescribable experience, I would say - an explosion of consciousness, being, and imagination. I felt out of body, saw myself, then a bunch of craziness, thought I was dead and then started coming down to reality.

When the trip was over and woke up, I was the most at peace I have probably ever felt. I came to terms with everything good and bad I had ever experienced or done, and just sort of knew everything was going to be okay....not sure I would ever do it again but was an experience for sure.

I have never personally had a bad trip, but I've heard stories for sure. I feel like it is dependent on the people around you during said trip and the environment/mindset you are in. Celestia, if you ever decide to trip, my advice is to make sure you have a set plan/place and people who will be in on it with you, and you all drop at the same time. Try to have a trusted person group and a semi-controlled environment, or at least think through what/where you will be so that you can be somewhat prepared.

Celestia, if you ever decide to trip, my advice is to make sure you have a set plan/place and people who will be in on it with you, and you all drop at the same time. Try to have a trusted person group and a semi-controlled environment, or at least think through what/where you will be so that you can be somewhat prepared.

Thanks for the advice! I definitely feel like my time has come and gone to try that since I have a child haha.
But I love hearing people’s experiences. It’s definitely something I feel like I missed out on.. but I’m naturally an anxious and tense person so I think I would’ve had really bad trips lol.

That was exactly the case with mine. It seems a good trip is dependent on the right circumstances and state of mind.

Yeah that was the case with weed for me. Sometimes it would help relax and loosen me up other times it would make my anxiety 3x worse.

Believe it or not I think it also depends on the strain or kind of weed you are smoking. When getting it off the street you have little control but when you buy it from a head shop in Colorado if you know what you are doing you can pick the correct strain for the right situation or state of affairs.

LSD is different no matter what kind of LSD you do you have to go into it in the right situation or you will have a bad trip.

That actually makes a lot of sense. When I smoked it was in Houston and you didn’t really know what was in the strain. Everything in Colorado is manufactured and labeled so I’m sure I could find something that works with me at some point.

I rarely drink more than a few alcoholic drinks because alcohol is the most anti-intellectual drug on the planet. In contrast, a sativa strain weed or sativa dominant strain weed can have you all philosophical and shit :thumb001:

I can understand that, but for me alcohol relaxes me a lot, gives me energy. I am a shy-ish person, and drinking makes me very social and outgoing which I enjoy, and what OI wanna do initially but cant bring myself to. I have an anxiety disorder which alcohol helps, but when i smoke it makes it so much worse, and since smoking "opens up" your mind a lot, I have to control my thoughts a lot bcs i dwell upon stuff a lot and it can make me go into a bad trip, thankfully I can copntrol it and just shut my brain off, and just focus on good thing, but i had my bad experiences... what i like is that it makes u percieve things in different ways like music, I like laughing with my friends as well and talking about interesting stuff, but alcohol makes me do as well.

Also when I am drunk I dont look bad, but when I smoke I always look like I havent slept in a couple of days, my eyes shrink and sink in, and get red, and I lose color, so its very apparent something is going on with me, which I hate lol, for example:

I used to be like your teens. Used to drink a lot to be more sociable. I became the borrachon of my high school. I even got two Award in my graduation dinner for drinking the most (borrachon of the year and juma of the year, lol)

I dunno, dude, technically there are two strains of weed but some are hybrid. They are called indica and sativa. If you can get your hands on pure "couch lock" indica you might find it relaxes you to the point you don't need alcohol.

I never used weed, not even after it was legalized. A long time ago, at the UCSC Dorms, I was surrounded by people using weed and drugs (including cocaine), but I never used any of it myself. There was also a lot of beer drinking there, but I didn't do that until after I graduated.

I've done some drinking, especially beer, brandy, cognac, wine and whiskey, but not very much of that these days; in the past, there was a time when I was drinking everyday. I do have a special time, everyday, for a few cups of gourmet coffee.
