Who was Theophano of Nikiforos, because i can't find nothing?
A princess from the 10th century.
"The Greek politicians have lied to the Greek people about their royal family in order to have control of the Greek Government and do what the want to do with no one to check them. The Greekroyal blood is traced to the Ludwig (Loudovikos) family of Bavaria as the the Byzantine Princess Theophano of the Nikiforos Fokas family married with the Bavarian Prince Otto. She was known as Theophano Sklerou. She was Married on April 14, 972. King Konstantinos family is the closest ancestors to her."

Back then many European noble houses claimed Byzantine origins. They thought it raised their status.

I'm sure nearly every Euro on earth had at least one Byzantine ancestor 1,000 years ago. You know how many ancestors you had 1,000 years ago? And they've estimated that every person of Euro descent has *at least* one common ancestor within the last 1,000 years.
