It’s The Creator’s Fault if One Exists
"I cannot persuade myself that a beneficent and omnipotent God would have
designedly created the Ichneumaonidae with the express intention of their
feeding within caterpillars."

- Evolutionary scientist Charles Darwin in a letter to Asa Gray

"Here’s something to ponder long and hard. Malaria was intentionally
designed. The molecular machinery with which the parasite invades red blood cells
is an exquisitely purposeful arrangement of parts. [A mother’s] children died
in her arms partly because an intelligent agent deliberately made malaria."

- Intelligent design pseudoscientist Michael Behe in The Edge of Evolution

If perchance an ultrapowerful creator deity exists, one way or another it
is entirely responsible for killing off some 50 billion children and 100-300
billion preborn (http://gregspaul.webs.com/Philosophy&Theology.pdf).
Consider some alternatives.

According to leading Intelligent Design creationists such as devout
Catholic microbiologist Michael Behe, because it is not possible for living
organisms to evolve via natural selection God has had to intentionally craft every
species of microbe that kills people kids included specifically to kill. And
since God carefully designed humans he deliberately failed to equip
children with the effective immune systems the little tykes need to fend off the
diseases he designed. That is outright premeditated homicide. Malaria alone
may have slaughtered 20 billion children, smallpox perhaps 10 billion. In The
Edge of Evolution Behe prattles on about how God has created a stage for the
human drama to play out upon, and that in this play bad things happen.
That’s inane, and it’s morally depraved -- if a producer put on a play that was
designed to kill off half the child actors they would be put up on charges
for homicide. Or contemplate how in Godless: The Church of Liberalism, Ann
Coulter relies on Behe to prove why Darwin was all wrong about amoral
evolution as opposed to God’s moral creation, and she is outraged at how the
god-free environmentalists have allowed millions to die from malaria because they
had a beef against DDT. This when Behe argues that God devised the malarial
killing machine that has aborted the free will of billions in the first
place! Its moral inanity of the highest order. Concocted to maximize PR
potential, the term Intelligent Design is a misnomer. It should really be labeled
Stupid Design. Or better yet Dumb Ass Design -- DAD. Really, I’m not kidding.

Many but as we shall see not all fundamentalist Biblical creationists
who go for the literal Genesis story agree with the intelligent I mean
stupid design crowd (who blasphemously accept that species descend from one
another over immense geological time) that God had to design every lethal microbe
to be lethal. But they contend that it’s not God’s fault that disease
rampages across the planet. In their opinion all was fine in the Garden of Eden
circ 4000 BCE where all organisms lived in harmony, with the big cats and
the tyrannosaurs eating vegetables, and the waiting in the wings disease
organisms doing who knows what. Humans, not God, are responsible for the
activation and spread of diseases because Adam and Eve sinned by disobeying their
creator, releasing the bacteria and viruses to afflict humanity that deserved
what it has received for its Fall from Grace that can only be redeemed
through Christ. This Looney Toons scenario is the equivalent of parents placing
an open container of gasoline in the kid’s room, plus a box of matches, and
warning the children not the play with fire. Bad results are guaranteed. Not
explained by this scenario is why the human reproductive system the perfect
God designed is so imperfect that it wastes most conceptions, and why the
immune systems he crafted for kids are so lousy. The idea that allowing the
deaths of countless billions of immature children and aborting their free will
is justified because a couple of humans slipped up is as incoherent as it
is depraved.

Many theists don’t want to have anything to do with how either DAD or
Biblical creationism makes their beloved God out to be a murderer, so they
contend that God did not design any diseases. Instead God in his perfect wisdom
allowed living things to evolve willy nilly on their own under the influence
of highly imperfect and amoral natural selection. Some organisms happened to
evolve into kid killers, and for some reason efficient immune systems did
not evolve among human juveniles, while the human reproductive scheme did not
turn out to be any great shakes either. This sloppy evolutionary version of
godly creation proposes that in trying to maximize free will the nitwit
creator incompetently minimized free will. This scenario is not necessarily
premeditated murder, but it at least is negligent homicide on a stunning scale.
Again, a careless producer that put on a play that happened to whack off
half the child actors would be charged with criminal negligence. This scenario
too is ethically depraved.

A good many Biblical creationists share the evolutionary creationist’s
aversion to a premeditatedly homicidal intelligent designer, but they also
oppose the amorality of evolution. So in their view none of the microorganisms in
the Garden of Eden had been crafted with lethal mechanisms by God. Instead,
some microbes devolved into killers after The Fall, so don’t blame the Lord
Creator. Nor did the creator outfit children with the effective microbio
defenses those who bore no responsibility for The Fall would need to survive
the diseases (a form of collective punishment of the type the commies are
into) He in His perfect knowledge knew would evolve. Adults did not get
efficient reproductive complexes to minimize noninduced abortions. This
pseudoscientific fiction manages to share some of the logic and morality defects of
both the above Genesis creationist and the evolutionary creation scenarios.

A few Abrahamist monotheists have proposed that God is Good, but He is not
sufficiently powerful to prevent bad things from happening, as per Rabbi
Kushner’s Why Bad Things Happen. This hypothesis is fatally flawed because even
we humans using some pretty simple ideas such as sanitation, vaccines and
antibiotics have saved billions of kids. A wise and caring god could have
easily provided his creations with the information needed to save billions of
kids over history. Instead, the Biblical Jesus does exactly the opposite,
deriding those who wash their hands before eating for engaging in a meaningless
ritual. In other words, the supposed Creator of the Universe shows how
little he cares about the well being of people by giving out bad sanitation
advice. Although the gospels have Christ saving a few local children, the
overall mortality rate remained at one in two. That is not love for the children,
and claiming otherwise is morally obtuse.

The Holocaust of the Children makes it impossible to construct a
monotheistic creator of overwhelming power that is moral and does the right thing when
it comes to humanity, is it possible to devise a god that is good in a
polytheistic scenario? Assume that there are two great gods that possess roughly
equivalent powers, close enough that if they wage war upon one another the
outcome is a true toss up. Further assume that one deity is truly good, and
that the other is really bad. Finally, for some reason the outcome depends
to a major extent on which side humanity fights. In that and other
polytheistic scenarios at least one God can be good to a certain degree. But the
premise is too flawed to fly.

Why would the activity of mere mortal humans be of import in a struggle between
titans of immense power? More importantly, the better deity is obligated to let
humanity know about the practical steps they can take to save the little ones.
Failure to do so is at least ethically if not criminally negligent. I am hard pressed
to think of a religion that proposes such a duel between supernatural equals
without a certain resolution. Zoroastrianism comes fairly close, but in that canon
the outcome is predetermined in favor of the good God, so it like Abrahamism
is merely an immoral morality play staged for insufficient reason on the kid killing earth.

The actual reason the planet has such an ugly dark side is simple enough.
There is no one in charge of the show, so lots of awful things happen.
Mindless natural evolutionary processes that do not know better are
correspondingly amoral, so tens of billions of kids die for no good reason.
In the end we cannot blame the gods for the mess, for they of course do not exist.

The apparent decline of popular creationism (Part 1 of this series) and
(www.opednews.com/Diary/More-on-Why-Religious-Supe-by-Gregory-Paul-110906-88.html)
has an interesting convert. Michael Behe’s son, Leo Behe, has come out as an
atheist evolutionist. In part because the universe is too inefficient and
defective to take the idea that a perfect God created the mess seriously.

It is to the elder Behe’s credit that he straight out acknowledges that his
creationist beliefs require that God be the exacting designer of death
dealing organisms. At least he is not evading the dark side of his alleged
creator like most theists are wont to do. But that does not save the morality of
his creation. Note how in the beginning quotes above it is the
anti-creationist Darwin who so many believers condemn as immoral who just cannot swallow
the illogical notion that a creator that designs organisms to kill other
innocent beings can be truly good. It is the godly Christian who is fine with
the egregiously killer God.

Samuel Clemens had no patience with such nonsense.

"There were typhoid germs, and cholera germs, and hydrophobia germs, and
lockjaw germs, and black-plague germs, and some other hundreds of aristocrats,
specially precious creations, golden bearers of God’s love to man, blessed
gifts of the infatuated Father to his children."

The purpose for human suffering and hardship is to lead people to the Christ Consciousness which is the mystery of God within human beings.

The reason that God does not intervene to prevent bad things from happening, is because to do so, would interfere directly with human spiritual and physical development. An example of this principle can be found when environmentalists refuse to interfere with nature so that evolution can continue unabated.

Although God does not wish catastrophes, natural disasters, and other bad things to occur, God will allow them to occur for the purpose of instructing humanity. It is because humanity is not in tune with nature because of war and environmental transgressions that these things occur.

War exists everywhere in nature. The world is a literal combat zone where survival of the fittest is law. Viruses invade our bodies and antibodies kill them. We are constantly at war against insects destroying our crops and invade our homes. Because we, as humans, are at the top of the food chain, we slaughter all kinds of plants and animals for food and clothes.

At times, a country declares war against other countries which threaten its national interests. Hurricanes, earthquakes, and other natural catastrophes unmercifully kills multitudes of people and destroys billions of dollars worth of property. Some day in the future, the world will in danger of being destroyed by a killer asteroid or comet. Ultimately, the whole universe might end the same way it began - with a violent explosion of unimaginable destruction.

NDE testimonies describe an incredibly violent act by God resulted in the creation of the universe and all the acts of violence that followed. An infinitely massive explosion unleashed by God led to unimaginable chaos, destruction and fireballs of incredible proportions. After eons of time, the chaos began to subside and harmony began - the heavenly bodies were born.

"I saw that the Big Bang is only one of an infinite number of Big Bangs creating Universes endlessly and simultaneously. The only images that even come close in human terms would be those created by supercomputers using fractal geometry equations." (Mellen-Thomas Benedict)

While it is true that love is always the best teacher, war can also result in divine revelations for the learning and soul growth of humanity. Near-death insights reveal how our greatest mistakes can be our greatest teachers

http://www.near-death.com/images/_to_be_filed/why-do-you-allow-evil.jpg

It is not enough to merely focus on the cross of Jesus and the divinity within him. Jesus taught people to "take up their own crosses" and follow his example and way. A person whose higher self has overcome his lower self will then become spiritually "awakened" and a spiritual "resurrection" will take place. The person will then begin to manifest the human-divine unity that Jesus did.

The liberation of humanity is when the "devil" (the delusion of separation and self-will) is then "cast into the abyss" (self-will is suppressed from consciousness by the divine will). The result will be "heaven on Void" (divine awareness within humanity).

The story of human evolution is the story of the struggle of the human spirit in overcoming the animal flesh. It is the Bible story, from Genesis to Revelation, concerning the fall and rise of the human spirit. It is paradise lost and paradise found again.

Jesus knew he had to die on the cross to fulfill his mission. His mission was to demonstrate to humanity how to practice love through self-sacrifice in devotion to others and by overcoming self so that our divine nature can be manifested.

Adolf Hitler was responsible for unleashing a global war and Holocaust never before witnessed in history. We think of Hitler as the personification of evil, the devil incarnate, a monster of hideous proportions, and we assume he is now burning in hell for eternity.

We practically deny his humanity and demonize him. But this is one of the characteristics that makes Hitler so horrifying - he was a human being. He knew certainly knew love because he much has been written about his deep love for his mother. Millions of Germans loved him. But the question concerning Hitler's Holocaust is not, "Where was God?" but "Where was man?"

So we cannot blame God for such actions, even though NDE testimonies reveal all human beings are a part of God:

Within every human being is perfect love. That is our core - this love, this perfection, this God-ness." (Jayne Smith)

"God is within us and we are an inseparable part of God. We are perfect love as a creation of God. We and God are one - Creator and created." (Linda Stewart)

"We must stop trying to become God because God is becoming us.. We are the human part of God.. God is expanding through us.. God is exploring Self through us in an infinite Dance of Life by every way imaginable, in an ongoing exploration through every one of us, through every piece of hair on our head, through every leaf on every tree, through every atom." (Mellen-Thomas Benedict)

"We were conceived in love spiritually, and love is the center of our beings. It is the energy of our souls, the spark of our divine nature. Being made of love, we cleave to it and seek it in all that we do. When we do not have it, or when we have lost it, we grieve. Its presence or absence colors our every action. It is life. It is happiness. It is salvation itself." (Betty Eadie)

Try to imagine what Hitler's life review must have been like. In the light of complete love and understanding, Hitler would suddenly realize his true nature as perfect love. He would then become every victim of his atrocities and feel all their pain. He would see perfectly how all his thoughts and actions had an impact on the entire universe. Although he made such monumental errors, he certainly learned monumental lessons from his life review.

One might even wonder if Hitler learned more from his life review than any other human being. We can only speculate how horrible the negative aspects of his life review must have been. It may have been too unbearable for one man to endure.

From big mistakes come big lessons; and it is clear that Hitler made very big mistakes leading to big lessons, not just for himself, but for all of humanity. It should be clear to us how God permitted Hitler to make these mistakes for the purpose of instructing humanity. Near-death testimonies reveal how God loves everyone unconditionally including Hitler. So we too must love Hitler unconditionally although not what he has done. We know God's infinite mercy extends even to him and that someday Hitler will join the choir in heaven just like the rest of us.

The following NDE testimonies reveal God allows big mistakes to occur for the sake of learning big lessons:

"Everyone goes to the same place. This includes Billy Graham, Hitler, and Jeffery Dahmer." (Mac Wright)

"Mistakes are an acceptable part of being human. We are to make all the mistakes we want. It is how we learn." (Rev. Howard Storm)

"There really is no sin as it is known in the world. The only thing that has any meaning in the spirit world is what we think. The very core of our being is perfect love and light." (Jayne Smith)

"There is no evil in any human soul. It is the lack of love that distorts people. We are designed by God to self-correct, just like the rest of the universe. No one is lost because everyone is already saved." (Mellen-Thomas Benedict)

"I'm sure that I asked the question that had been plaguing me since childhood about the sufferings of my (Jewish) people. I do remember this: There was a reason for everything that happened, no matter how awful it appeared in the physical realm. And within myself, as I was given the answer, my own awakening mind now responded in the same manner: 'Of course,' I would think, 'I already know that. How could I ever have forgotten!'" (Beverly Brodsky)

From these NDE insights, we should conclude that Hitler was not an "evil" man. This is because evil does not exist -- only spiritual ignorance exists. There should be no doubt that Hitler was very spiritually ignorant. He was so spiritually ignorant, we might even consider him uniquely "challenged" spiritually. It's possible Hitler's spiritual deficit was the result of a dysfunctional frontal cortex of his brain. Who is to say? Viewing Hitler as severely handicapped (who but "by the grace of God goes us") makes it easier to love him unconditionally. How can we blame someone with a severe disability? It is much easier to sympathize with them.

Religion may be man-made but everything that Jesus embodies is true. Proof is the countless near-death experiences who describe God as infinite love. Religions are just cultural institutions but God is universal. Love is not limited to any one religion or even religion at all.

The different religions just have different ways of explaining the same Creator. God created differences in religion because of the different lessons we all need to learn. Near-death accounts suggest that unconditional love is the highest form of religion there is.

"I asked the light, which I call Christ, how people from other religions get to heaven. I was shown that the group, or organization, we profess alliance to is inconsequential. What is important is how we show our love for God by the way we treat each other. This is because when we pass to the spiritual realm we will all be met by him, which substantiates the passage, 'No one comes to the Father, but by me.' The light showed me that what is important is that we love God and each other, and that it isn't what a person says, but the love in their being that is examined in the afterlife." (Sandra Rogers)

"I wanted to know why there were so many churches in the world. Why didn't God give us only one church, one pure religion? The answer came to me with the purest of understanding. Each of us, I was told, is at a different level of spiritual development and understanding. Each person is therefore prepared for a different level of spiritual knowledge. Each church fulfills spiritual needs that perhaps others cannot fill. No one church can fulfill everybody's needs at every level." (Betty Eadie)

Everyone, religious or not, believing in God or not, transitions to the spirit world as part of the natural process of life. Just as one does not need to be religious to live in the physical world, one does not need to profess a particular faith to live in the spirit world." (Nora Spurgin)

"Within the Light of God, we realize that everyone and everything is connected to God ... Within the Light was the cure for all diseases; within the Light was all the knowledge of every planet, every galaxy, every universe. Indeed, the Light was Wisdom and Love beyond all comprehension." (Dr. Dianne Morrissey)

"God is everywhere because nothing exists that is not a part of God. God is neither a man nor a woman nor a thing. Life itself is God." (P.M.H. Atwater)

The creator allowed his special snowflakes, angels, interfere in human history so much it doomed billions to an eternity of suffering. God should be sued for crimes against humanity, I don't know a single parent that would leave their child, who knows nothing, in the fire when it could be easily prevented.

Angels are assholes, according to the bible, a 3rd of the angels revolted, interfered with human history and were allowed to do this because god. Yes god sent his son to form a new covenant, great, still dooming billions of souls to an eternity of hellfire.

what a fucking asshole

the vatican released the tablets of King Nog, a giant, if you think that giants basically half breeds between angels and humans arent real then you are just ignoring evidence. US special forces in afghanistan killed an 1100 lbs 6 fingered giant put it on a plane and fly it to the US. All the crew, including the pilots verify this. This giant killed 9 men in the process, apparently.

You can google the transcript of king nogs writings, you can also look up the giant killed in afghanistan.

If God does not exist then you don't exist either, since you are part of the collective consciousness called God. If God does not exist then Life itself does not exist.

God is the creative energy of the universe, expressing itself as us and everything else. Wherever we are, God is. Like God, we are constantly expressing ourselves in some way

Ancient traditions equate divine consciousness with LIGHT - a consciousness from which all other consciousness originated and have their being. Modern near-death experience research supports this equation.

This is because the phenomenon of LIGHT is of central importance to both quantum physics and consciousness research including near-death experience research. The Bible declares that "God is LIGHT"

Physicist Stephen Hawking once stated:

"When you break subatomic particles down to their most elemental level, you are left with nothing but pure LIGHT."

Eminent physicist, David Bohm, viewed all matter as "condensed" or "frozen" LIGHT.

In 1982, physicists led by Alain Aspect have experimentally demonstrated that "entangled" particles of LIGHT were able to remain in contact with one another regardless of the distance separating them - even if the distance is billions of miles.

Swiss psychologist Carl G. Jung (1875-1961), a near-death experiencer who founded Analytical Psychology was transfixed by the idea of life not being a series of random events but rather an expression of a deeper order which he and Wolfgang Pauli referred to as "one world" - a term referring to the concept of an underlying unified reality to the universe from which everything emerges and returns to.

Physicist David Bohm developed a corresponding theory called the "Holographic Principle" which defines the universe as a single, gigantic hologram of LIGHT where everything is connected to everything else in the universe - including consciousness.

According to physicist Fred Alan Wolf, near-death experiences can be explained using the holographic model where death is merely a shifting of a person's consciousness from one dimension of the hologram to another.

Because every part of a hologram is infinitely interconnected with every other part, the human brain is perhaps nature's supreme example of a cross-correlated, holistic system. The brain processes LIGHT by encoding and decoding LIGHT frequencies which is precisely what a hologram does best.

In the 1990's, physicist Roger Penrose and anesthesiologist Stuart Hameroff developed the theory of "quantum consciousness" which assumes classical, Newtonian physics cannot fully explain consciousness. Interestingly enough, like David Bohm and Karl Pribram before them, Penrose and Hameroff developed their theories at the same time synchronistically.

Quantum consciousness also supports the theory that, at death, consciousness (i.e., the quantum information inside these microtubules - what religionists refer to as the "soul") doesn’t disappear; but instead, is retained in the fine structure of the holographic universe.

While all this evidence may not persuade materialistic skeptics, the millions of individuals who have had a near-death experience are absolutely convinced of their consciousness survived clinical bodily death.

It is much easier to sympathize with them.

nature is not moral in a sense declared by man made religions! http://www.theapricity.com/forum/showthread.php?181007-on-gods-morality-naturalist-perspective

Good and evil are to many an 'obvious' reality but with thought, the concept of these opposites makes little sense. What is good for one being is frequently bad for another. For example in nature the whole cycle of biological life is based on death and recycling. Hence why major religions have historically been based around these themes, especially vegetation gods who are reborn every Winter Solstice. All predators find it good that prey is available; if you protect the prey you harm the predators, and whilst it is bad from the prey's point of view to be eaten, it is necessary from the predator's point of view. In nature, survival is violent and competitive.

See: "Subjectivism and Phenomenology: Is Objective Truth Obtainable?" by Vexen Crabtree (2000)
Bacteria14 feed on biological chemicals to survive and breed. What is good for them is bad for us. While antibiotics are good for us and reduce our suffering, their usage creates suffering and death for countless other minor species. What is good for one species is bad for others. While one culture may consider multiple marriage to be a virtue of love and positivity, another considers it an evil sin. What is good in one culture is bad in another. What was good in the Old Testament of the Christian Bible is bad in the New, what is good in the Buddhist Pali scriptures is wrong in the Therevada, what is considered an ethic by one group in society is considered wrong in another. Contraception may be evil according to Catholic doctrine, but, overpopulation causes suffering for all. What the homeless rightly do to survive is a "social evil" to those with homes, and how governments collect tax is evil to the poor person but a social necessity. Good and Evil are impossibly complex, inherently subjective.

Moral subjectivism is not limited to the human concern for other humans. A nuclear attack is bad for billions of people but may well be good for undersea creatures who suffer from our pollutants. Eliminating environmental toxins from our waste may make industry less efficient and slow the economy, but is good for other species. A life-saving vaccine may be good for many people but could be atrocious for the environment and create suffering due to overpopulation.

There are no actions that are "good" or "bad" from the point of view of all peoples, cultures, societies, species and interests. There are no actions that are absolutely good for life, and there are no actions that are bad for all species. There is no "opposite" to good or evil; there is no scale with "good" on one side and "evil" on the other: There are only conflicting subjective interests. It is all personal opinion, compromise and ********* "Good" is not the opposite of "evil" as both concepts are too personal, too subjective and too elusive to warrant definition or resolution as opposites.

he Inhumane Effects of the Justifications of Evil5

#christianity #judaism

There has been a long Christian history of horrible explanations of evil, wherein all blame is put on the victims. Disabled people, stillborn babies, the suffering of children and adults alike has all, from time to time, been explained as punishment for their sins. If not actual behaviour, then for thought crime, and, sometimes, the punishment itself is in order to prevent some serious sin happening in the future. The theory goes that God never punishes people through random bouts of suffering by accident: everything is part of God's plan. If suffering seems unjust and unfair, then, it is merely the case that God is judging and punishing people for reasons that their fellow Humans do not comprehend. Thoughts like these kill all sense of compassion and caring, and scupper any chance of granting relief to the victim. Everything is our fault: there is no suffering of innocents, for there are no innocents. It is not our job to try and alleviate the pain that God has seen fit to bring upon us!

I am sure that most modern, moral, readers, must react in horror to such an inhumane dismissal of evil.

Christianity followed suit, and embraced the idea of original sin. That is, we all deserve punishment simply for being human, until such a time as we are saved, if we ever are. This was not mere philosophizing - the Christian church in the dark ages really did ban medicine and physicians on the grounds that our bodies deserve their pains and diseases. The same went for childbirth - it is painful and dangerous for women, because God made it that way as a punishment for all women8 (Genesis 3:14-19). Midwifery was banned. Their activities were seen as a "direct affront to the divinely ordained pain of childbirth" and, according to a Scottish clergyman, "vitiating the primal curse of women"9. For the same reasons, "when the great American discovery of anaesthetics was applied in obstetrical cases, it was discouraged [because] it was an impious attempt to escape from the curse denounced against all women in Genesis iii. 16" - Draper (1881)10, also told by Stanton (1898)11. Martin Luther, the founder of Protestantism, taught the same: The following statement epitomizes the Christian approach to female welfare: "If they become tired or even die", Luther wrote, "that does not matter. Let them die in childbirth - that is why they are there"12.

This outright dismissal of pain and suffering arises because religious theology cannot answer the fundamental question as to why there is evil and suffering in the world. The result is a morality that can have a profoundly negative effect on human compassion.

Some theologians state that this world - complete with suffering - is the "best of all possible worlds" that God could have created. Plato made this argument in 360BCE, and it has also been propounded by the Islamic Hamid al-Ghazali (1058-1111) and Christian theologian Gottfried Leibniz (1646-1716)18. They all argued that some evil is necessary in order to attain a greater amount of good. But with the existence of heaven - where angels sit, free of sin and never having existed on the Earth - it is clear that there is no necessary reason why beings with free will have to exist on earth and suffer before going to heaven. The very design of the life cycle, natural disasters and the cataclysms of the violent universe prove an opposite conclusion: creation is the worst of all possible worlds. The idea of the existence of a good creator god is refuted by the facts of the universe.

The main piece of evidence here is biological matter and the food chain. All life dies - all biological life decays, erodes, fades, becomes diseased and ill if it does not sustain itself. To sustain itself nearly all life, except the least living elements of life, kills and eats other life. If not this, then it consumes biological matter at the expense of other living beings; the fight for food is also a case of living beings being required to outdo each other merely to survive.

If life was created, and not simply the result of undirected unconscious evolution (as seems sensible), this is surely the worst possible way to have created life. It appears very much that life cannot survive without causing suffering for other life. A god could not have created a more vicious cycle if it tried: Tying the very existence of life with the necessary killing of other life is the work of an evil genius, not of an all-powerful and all-loving god, that could choose if it wanted to sustain all life immediately and forever with manna from heaven. But it seems such an all-powerful good god doesn't exist.

The creation of quite so much suffering, disease and despair in life is a main indicator that god is not good.

Rapists get punished in this life, forgiving a rapist does not entail acquiting him of a crime. At the same time the role of prison is to correct convinced criminals wherever that is possible.

It's not about justifying someone else’s bad behavior against you, but rather releasing all the negative energy that it sent your way in order to find peace. This in turn will help your other relationships, promote psychological wellbeing, reduce stress, boost your immunity, and help bring happiness into your life.

Refusing to forgive someone is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die.

Uncertainty is the creator of religion, philosophy and the sciences. I think humanity want certainty because it gives us a sense of security and safety and this gives us an illusion of control. The desire for control over our environment and its resources creates an idea at least that we are increasing our chances of survival. The reason or the evolutionary drive for survival is our will to live, or the emergence of life and its continuance. I think uncertainty was an important precursor to religious ideology because it gives the practitioner the false impression of control or influence over the outcome. As a result, if you throw divination bones, read the intestines of a goat, the oracles of the cracks of a heated tortoise or turtle shell you get the delusion of control. Even in the so-called dominant religions of today, where people believe in a god who created the universe and who will make life for his believers better, they read his so-called word, pray, there is still an idea of control and certainty of afterlife or blessings .

I would replace the word corruptting with uncertain..

The very act of existance is ever chainging/uncertain, so it makes sense that such horrible things would come out of an imperfect/ever changing/uncertain world. Only imperfection can be ever changing, perfection is everlasting(a perfect thing does not require any changes).. Thus the longing of humans for certainty.

The only constant is change. It's the most basic fact of human existence. Nothing lasts, nothing stays the same.

We feel it with each breath. From birth to the unknown moment of death, we ride a river of change. And yet, in spite of all evidence to the contrary, we exhaust ourselves in an endless search for solidity. We hunger for something that lasts, some idea or principle that rises above time, change and mortality(the main boundaries of life). We hunger for certainty in this life and continuation of life after death.

Religions are built around this heartache for certainty. In the face of sickness, loss and grief, a thousand dogmas with a thousand names have risen. Many profess that if only the faithful hold fast to the "rules," the "precepts" or the "doctrine" then certainty can be obtained.
Fate and future can be fixed through promises of freedom from immediate suffering, divine favor or everlasting salvation. Scriptures are transformed into unwavering blueprints for an unchanging order. These documents must be believed beyond question lest the certainty they provide crumble. They become monuments to the fear of change and uncertainty.

but i understand your point very well, since gnosticism considers this world to be a corrupt creation of a imperfect deity = the divider

while hinduism and buddhism consider it the cycle of great illusion and suffering, which is created by the duality itself. without duality there is no conflict or suffering, since only two beings can love or hate each other, singularity or oneness cannot do such because for oneness there is no one to love or hate, to punish or reward, to suffer or be happy. so only oneness is perfect, duality is always corrupt/imperfect, since there is more than one being, so conflicts are automatically predetermined! western religions are dualistic in nature, eastern faiths try to accomplish oneness while western faiths play the battles between good and evil which automatically keeps them entrapped in this dualistic 3d realm... since the 3d realm is entirely based on duality(see natural cycles, different sexes, polar opposites, different worldviews, eat or get eaten etc.)

loving this world means loving duality = loving suffering and conflict

You have several translations of that verse because of language barrier (partially also because vocabulary thousands of years ago was not rich as it is today, one word stood for many words we have today). It most certainly does not stand for moral evil. Evil there is often translated as disaster partially because of the physical phenomena context behind the Isaiah 45:5-7.

Everything in life has false dualistic views. If we choose to enter the door of dualism, then we get hurt, disappointed, and bitter in the end. If we choose a better doorway which is emptiness, then the door leads seemingly nowhere yet everywhere.

Whatever we choose, everything ends in death in the end. Everything is forgotten, lost, abandoned and taken away. Why bother to spend your whole life gathering things you can keep for a very short time? So better choose a doorway that at death, it leads to something much better. Something you can take…more tangible yet not tangible…your consciousness..mind.

Your mind is the only thing you actually ‘own’. It travels ‘with’ you life after life taking on different forms, experiencing, collecting, learning and then back to the same thing again. In the end, there’s no place new in samsara you have not been to. It seems like a journey, but it’s just a vicious cycle. Nothing new to learn, only to re-experience again and again.

At the end of each life cycle, we have to start the dying process again….then death, then rebirth, then death, over and over again with no end….pleasurable to the ignorant. A vicious cycle to those who are Awakened.

Desire
Fired by our attachments, desire and greed we have to take rebirths again and again deceptively thinking it is a new journey or it will be better or it is a place we haven’t been to before. Those are the babblings of the deceived.

We seek eternal love and safety in a world where limitation and impermanence are the rule.. How naive and foolish!!

Since this world exists within the framework of space and time, duality automatically becomes a part and parcel of this world. To be without duality, the non-dual state, where there is neither good nor bad, neither birth nor death, one has to go beyond time and space, which is not normally possible for us, human beings in this world. And hence, because we are within time and space, the very nature of life remains dual and evil or sin will always be there, along with the good and the virtuous. This is the framwork on which our world is created. We could accurately call the Creator an emotion vampire. That which is eternal and immortal cannot feel the emotions that mortal biological life feels. The Creator cannot fear death or feel the elation of escaping death. The Creator cannot feel the pleasure of intense orgasm with a beautiful woman. So we were created over eons of time, by guided evolution, so the Creator can vicariously experience emotion through us. The Creator is not moral in the sense declared by religions. The Creator made lions to eat lambs, wolves to eat deer, hawks to eat sparrows, and the races of men to battle for women, territory, power and life. The battles are neither good or evil. They are part of natural law put into operation by the Creator. Ascetic people who deny natural laws will perish. In the cycles of soul-incarnations and battles for survival, warriors win and cowards perish, either in this cycle or another. This is the harsh but true natural law which runs this world of time and space. The Absolute set creation in motion with iron hard rules called the Laws of Nature. Within those rules each race, each species and each individual must struggle... There is only natural law which is the highest law. Religions are built on ignorance and superstition. The fictious character Jesus demands that his followers be as little children, who of course "believe" all they are told and have no power of reason. Since creating this fictious entity, the church began to murder every scientist, every philosopher, every custodian of the Mysteries and every Pagan priest, which brought about the Dark Ages of ignorance, superstition, disease and death. It is vital to remember that religious myths are allegory, parable and code for natural laws, and not to be taken literally.
The three most absurd supernatural tales that are presented as factual history, one from each religion, will illustrate the point. Moslems are told that Mohammed rose to heaven while still alive, as he stood on a rock which is now enshrined within a mosque called the Dome of the Rock. The Christians demand literal belief that the motive force of the entire universe turned itself into a mortal man, in order to have itself killed by mortal men, in order to keep itself from killing mortal men in the eternal torment of hell. The Jews are taught that the earth stopped spinning so there would be extra sunlight for their alleged ancestors to slaughter their enemies. Of course, they are not told that if the earth stopped spinning, the oceans would come out of their boundaries in a wall of water miles deep and traveling 1,000 mph, which would obliterate the earth's land masses. If the concept of "God" can be understood within the limitations of human perspective, the most precise grasp would be defined by the eternal Laws of Nature. But Christians and other believers are required to abandon all reason and "believe" in the "immaculate conception." Religions are a perfect tool for dumbing down naive and childish masses and feed their false hopes.. There is only Natural Law which is immutable, everything else is man made false doctrines of anthropomorphism! Mankind wishes the creator to be made in its own image but this is a logical fallacy. The most honest image of God is found in Natures Laws. This also explains why there is death, suffering, struggle and pain! Because they are part of natural law, life is and always has been a struggle for survival.

It seems the most strained of optimistic delusion that people say the universe is fine-tuned for life when 99.9999% of it will kill us within a few minutes, and organisms can fail to procreate, but can't fail to die. A better characterization of this universe seems that it is fine-tuned for death.
