The most important part of it:

R1 - 51.6%

I only don;t get, why R1a is not mentioned. In older
data it was 3.1%. Maybe they putted it under M207?

Brazilian population ~208 mln.
R1 = 51.6% = ~108,000,000.

The summary:

R1 - 51.6%
E1 - 18.7%
J - 10.1%
I - 8.9%
G - 5.1%
Q - 3.1%
LT - 2.2%

During colonization in Latin America many iberian invaders killed the native men and raped the women, so the YDA is mostly european.

It's true in America as well. 80-90% of African Americans are R1b.

I remember old studies with A, B and C y-haplogroups here, but probable they are insignificant.

There is only the lack of 0,03% :)

A and B could be significant, but probably only among Blacks.
But Blacks are only 3% of Brazilian population, so if they have
1-5% of it it would be very small number, but I think it should
be visible in that promileish study. There is also a lack of other
hgs as well, some asian ones, and ecpecially R1a, so I think it
can be not fully representative research, but quite close to the
reality, as some fractional old data was showing.

You mean R1b not R1a :D

No, buy glasses.
Of course huge majority is R1b, but you can also say, not
R1b but M269, L23, L51, L11 - but what's the point in this?

you joking?

J is common in the middle east.

K is rare, L is basically african

I is uber european.........

Now I see, basicaly J is from those new christians who helped to colonize Americas and I is probably from Germans who settled in Southern Brazil.

Rethel

No R1a :D

Read once again, what I wrote.

Btw it is logically impossible to be no R1a there, if there is:

3 mln Poles,
12 mln Germans
1,5 mln Russkies
plus unknown number of British and Scandinawians.

It should give statistically at least 5 mln R1a, i.e. 2.5%.

Older studies gave R1a 3%.

But I do not understand, what is your problem at all...
Are you jealous, that R1a did not pardoized themselves or what?

Aha... yet one important thing from the data.

Oficially in Brasil is only 817,000 Indians,
but as we see in the data, real number
is eight times higher - they simply live
among normal Brasilians, not in resevations.
